How in the FUCK did kanae do the reflector>236bc at the end. I was trying to do that shit for days!! Trying to exploit the kara cancel off reflectors but couldnt get anything (e.g. reflect>23bc~6cb). The reflector would always override or if I tried to be slick and do it a bit late, the reflector attack would override.
And does anyone know what that random editing and text at the end was about (???)

Yeah I remember us discussing that and you weren’t sure why it wasn’t working.
I had the idea that it might be possible but I wasn’t able to do it either. Only empty reflect karacancel.
There could be a few possibilities. It may be an input thing where you have to either hold or release specific buttons, or it may be a just-frame.
Actually I’ve noticed other oddities about Kanae’s super in general, but I’ve definitely never seen that before.
How do you download from nico?
Download, as in keeping the vid, or just watching it? If it’s the first, go to the temporal files folder of your browser ( I use Opera and it’s C:\Documents and Settings\whatever your pc’s name is\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile\cache4 ) after you’ve completely loaded the video. There you’ll find the .flv you’ve just watched.
If it’s the second, get a nicovideo account. Here’s a tutorial:

Some questions for the more knowledgeable players: is Adler’s somersault safe on block or did his opponents in those vids suck at punishing it? Yeah, dont know whats up with that. Since I got back into the char I’ve started to enjoy using him more and from my exp. I dont think hes that bad of a char to run as a main. Only thing that angers me to no end when using him is NOT HOLDING 1/4 DURING COMBOS (stupid unintentional booms). That will take some time for me to get used to :rolleyes:

Adlr seems to have not changed much (if at all) from the latest PC version.
B and CSomersault is very unsafe on block(scroll to bottom). Not too sure about the disadvantage on the A version. A version may not be jab punishable but normally I would punish a blocked somersault with a throw. The frame data above is based off the 1121 data and I believe Adlr may have received some buffs from 1121 to 1131. No 1131 data for adlr has been issued yet though (?).
As for the combo at 1:11 in the vid you linked, I mentioned it in one of Renda’s earlier vids. Don’t know if he took what I said into consideration or if he just happened to figure out the combo himself. I used PC (obviously lol) to test for the combo before posting the notation so yeah, its doable.
