I’m interested in picking this game up but I’m having trouble finding any Sai vids. Is he really that crap? T_T
as you said, vicious D=
I messed around with Adler when I first got the game and he just seemed like a gimped Soldat but obviously that was ver, VERY wrong.
Soldat is a gimped everybody.
Everyone told me Sai’s high-tier actually, just noone in the US mains him, though I’m going to.
Yeah I remember you saying soldat sucks in the channel haha
wow… magneto sue is seriously crazy…
I have a question.
What is Mura’s corner and midscreen BnB’s? I am only doing the short 2A, 2A, 2B, 8C, Super that does not do too much damage compared to others.
This is taken from the Akawiki. It’s the only combo posted for Murakumo though. It’s a great resource if you haven’t checked it out yet:
http://akatsuki.mizuumi.net/index.php/Main_Page
2A -> 2A -> 2A -> 2A -> 2B -> 8C -> (B+C or A+B+C) - Input is a little strange. Holding 2 for the 2A’s and the 2B gets the charge in, 2B slides in so the rest actually hits, hitting 8C does the charge slash, and by inputting B+C quickly enough, the charge carries over.
With the exception of the extra 2A and the A+B+C link-up, it seems you may have got the jist of it.
in the corner, supercancel sword upper into fireball super then juggle with 2A’s into 5B into sword upper.
By quickly he means any time you want really. The window is huge.
Thanks for the hints, guys. Yeah, AkaWiki has been my bible for a while now.
I tried Leebee Link’s combo, the damage is pretty good if I burn a 2nd stock and tag on a Ex sword at the end.
I agree that tagging on charge B+C moves is very easy in this game.
I wonder how much the AC release of this will cost - because I’m actually considering getting it because it’s a home made fighter that’s actually pretty cool.
The thing about Mura is that his launcher is his landmine. You can try different juggles from there. If the bnb’s blocked, you can do 4C or 5C for mind game and crossing crouched characters respectivily
Hey guys. So, I finally got a new computer (actually a laptop). Which means I can play more A:BK with you guys; at least that is what I thought. It seems as though A:BK doesn’t play well on my laptop…I’m not sure why. Here are my stats:
Windows Vista 32-bit
Processor: AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60 2.00 GHz
Video Card: GeForce 7150m 264 Mb Integrated (so 128 Mb)
Memory: 3 Gb RAM
I’m fairly sure I should be able to run this game (it ran fine on my old computer), but something is wrong. Here is what’s happening:
- During the opening and that screen between the character select and actual fight – 60 FPS
- At any option-type screen (including the main one) and the character select screen – 15 FPS
- During actual fights – 30 FPS
The weird thing is that no mater the FPS the game plays at the normal speed. It just skips all the frames it misses so everything looks jerky.
Any help would be appreciated.
^You know, I had a similar problem, and it was solved by running in fullscreen for some reason, are you running it windowed?
Also I played against my friend’s Kanae today, her grabs are fucking killer. I can barely ever avoid that shit. If I just jump I tend to get hit by her normals and just put right back down ot he ground so I really dont’ know what to do.
I’ve sent emails out to certain parties requesting a quote.
Speaking of Kanae, her palm loop in the corner is so retardedly easy:rofl: As for a decent strat for avoiding her command throws, the best thing I can think of is keeping her at a distance…easier said than done, I know. Mid-range pokes and long range specials (i.e. Mycale maybe?) should work and keep Kanae players on their toes.
Well I main Sai and most of his normals are outranged by hers. AFAIK he doesn’t really have any good solid pokes compared to her. Like, I can use 5C(whiffed) to jump over her 2C and recover before she does, but there’s not much I can do about her own 5C aside from parrying. If he does it from max distance that doesn’t help either as it can just totally whiff =(
I dont’ have any solid way to get in my range or out of her pressure. I mean sometimes I get a good positioned parry, throw or 236C in but it’s not very reliable.
The thing about mura doing that corner combo is that you should really go for a mine setup.
like 2A 2A 2A > 2B > sword upper > Fireball super > 2A 2A 2a 2B into © mine.
The reason is that with this setup you get corner pressure so that they get punished for trying to leave. Also if you try to do a sword finisher instead they recover in time so you don’t get to set a mine without getting beat up.
Also C mine pops them the highest make sure you use that one dont use the a version cuz it pops them really low so no combo ability.
The pressure is combo in corner into mine, control the corner and detonate if they try to escape and use his walk (running) speed to catch up to them for a combo into mine again.
Ask if you wish to know more.
In that case, I can’t really help. I don’t know Sai too well:sad: But you definitely have my props for maining him.
Running it in fullscreen makes it normal. Thanks. I hate fullscreen though, but I guess I’ll deal with it.
