A little project by Zar the Biscuit and I – The Marilyn Tutorial video is complete.

With the release of Ausf. Asche coming very soon and with a handful of changes noted from loketests, this video is a bit belated. But regardless of all that, it was something I told Zar that we’d finish no matter what and here it is.

Besides, it is a great display of what Marilyn could do in the version before the one where Akatsuki Blitzkampf is no longer considered a doujin game.

Though they’re already listed in the credits within the video, here are some people I’d like to give some kudos:

Xenozip (for taking the time to capture all those replays – there were a lot of them)

Sp00ky (providing a location and being very hospitable while Zar and I Blitz-ed it out)

siblade and Sabin (for helping with a handful of replays)

bellreisa (for hosting the US irc community on mizuumi)

zar (making them replays and for waiting it out through all those hiatuses – SBO, yo)

From the editing, replays, presentation, music, player(s) executing moves, on-screen advice (even notations)…

If I were to rate this video on a scale from 1 to 10, that would be an insult. Ten just isn’t high enough. Excellent job.

Have you guys seen the Adler vids on Nico Nico?

Some crazy instant overhead / absurd 50/50 stuff on a few characters.

Makes him alot scarier then I thought he wasnt.

On the characters in the vids, j.A works as in instant overhead. So Adler can set up meaty EX-ball and go to town with a vicious 50/50. He can go low and combo from there or go for the j.A instant overhead which he can also combo from (come down with j.C) as well.
