Rithli and I played some games testing the new netplay.
Cross country play is now very playable, runs at 60fps for the most part with very little input delay.
Whats the learning curve in this game like?
Its REALLY easy… There isnt anything hard about this game whatsoever. execution wise anyway. Of course you gotta learn match ups and the like

Is it possible to cancel a reflector into a super during the first few frames? A couple of times with Sai when I did a super, not cancelled from anything, I would hear the parry voice clip, followed by the super coming out. I tested it a while and I once even got the blue reflector to appear and still cancel it into a super. The timing is pretty tight, put is there some sort of utterly excessive application that this might have?
Can’t think of a use for it but yes, its possible. I tried it with Akatsuki in practice just now and could see the reflector almost all the time.
If anything, you should bother either me (‘zar’ on IRC) or Rithli for some netplay matches as we are usually available for play most of the time.

When ever you’re on IRC just ask in the channel for a game, some one is likely to respond.
i’m having problems here. the config/settings loads but i cant see the main screen.
Sorry to sidetrack things, but for some reason when I’m playing in the snowfall stage the framerate drops to unplayable levels, somewhere around 7-11 frames. This is the only stage that this happens on. Is it a bug or something, or is that stage just a lot more graphically intensive?
Thats it. Use backgrounds on low resolution.
I think these guys should find some better artists to do sprites and remake the game.
Overall they look alright, but the animation doesn’t feel that great.
IE I was playing fritz in the demo and his sword swipes compared to chars from SS just felt awkward and clunky.
Other than that it kicks ass.
I wish the demo had all the chars to test - that’s a bit of a disappointment and I might have considered buying the game if it did.
BTW, if anyone has any problems with the config.exe just right click it and set it to win 2k mode.

To be honest its seems that it just Mycale with his “im a fucking Nazi” dress, the same as in her Ending anyway… but who knows, maybe is another char after all.
