I would say that Sai is somewhere in the lower tiers in terms of how good he is. However, I think his main strength lies in the fact that he can set up some pretty deceptive shit.
If you land the crossup B a little early-ish but not too early so that 2A would still combo in, you can, on block, throw just about immediately after the 2A. You can instead opt to 2A your way out of danger.
Anytime you land a B shouldercharge or a standing C, you can decide if you want to go for the ground crossup of C shouldercharge. If they roll, wait until they aren’t flashing anymore and hit them with unblockable ABC, or do 22BC a LITTLE earlier, while they are still waking up.
Any landed B shouldercharge can turn into 214BC, which is the most damaging cancel I can think of. 236A 236BC doesn’t do the same amount, I think.
Yeah me too. I also felt that way when I played Kanae. But honestly I haven’t played anyone else except Kanae and Sai for more than just a few minutes (I only really touched four characters in this game, aside the Gun-Nun I played the big guy with the gay looking hair, he plays like balrog and cancelling into his 4-3 super is pretty damaging). Anyway…
I hope they release a patch that gives the characters new (hopefully useful) stuff.
I just finished sugoruko and you unlock hard sugoruko mode. With challenges like defeating 5 soldats and 2 blitztanks with superarmor and fritz on crack in 99 seconds i wonder what hard mode has in store?
Beat the game 5 times i think. And hard mode is making of bleed out of my ears. When i finish this and if that unlocks a valhall sugoruko mode i’m going to cry.
I just met 2 buffed up nuns and it is haaaard. Especially since they surround me and keeps shooting me in the face, when i do beat them RESURRECTION!

Using helpers yourself is pretty useless unless you use 2 and get the cpu pinned in the corner. And when your helpers get hit you also loose life.
It’s likely a custom file format altogether, so don’t expect to open it up in any ordinary program. Sometimes if you’re lucky, renaming the extension to zip will do the trick, but it depends. “pak” doesn’t really mean anything, they could have used any file extension they felt like using.
Anyway, since I have nothing to discuss at the moment given that I haven’t even had the chance to get the trial version on my laptop, much less the full version (if I ever find it), I just wanted to thank woof for the rar of the music.
I really like Sai and Mycale’s alongside the Final Boss’s (as woof said)–they’re all decent at worst, which is very surprising given that seems to be all based on as things as original as can be. I guess it makes this game all that more outstanding and should set a new level for the “professionals”.
