I just started playing this game like… 10mins ago and he is the only character that interest me so far (That nun w/ the guns is hard to use IMO… she reminds me of Dhalsim in that you have to hold “Back” to perform non-range normals, don’t got any combo’s w/ her though just basic ABC crap).
Anyway’s I was wondering if anyone else plays him? So far I only got one descent combo and it’s w/ the enemy on the wall:
j.C > s.B, back+C, qcf+A (time) s.A, s.B, qcf+b xx qcf super
Does around 4300 Damage (the number below it says 6000 something). Anyway’s, I’m going to go try BBB demo…
PS: Kanae sucks balls. I can’t seem to link or combo in many things with her. Then again I only gave her like a 5-10min run on Practice mode. She can’t even basic cancel her s.B into another normal…
Also anyone tried the online mode yet? If so does it work? I wont even try it on this comp cause I am on dial up. Though I will install this game and try it at my friends house.

Is Sais regular status stuff usable? Its pretty to jump over them.
I would say no. They’re very difficult to combo into due to the command (22) and the range is that of a throw. His ABC super is great though, and easy to combo into off of a normal A attack.
I’ve been lurking in this thread for quite a while, and I have to say that I’m still amazed that this is fan made. (This is especially true since I finally, finally see a “nun with a gun” character. Figures that Chibi would hog her though since there aren’t any maid characters…)
I wonder if this could get into EVO given there are have been console tournaments, no?
I guess there would have to be a way to get legitimate copies, though. And it’s not like I’ll ever geto play it, though, EVO or otherwise (just like with Arcana [fucking] Heart).
Oh well, I hope that game’s successful in the areas where it currently can be sold.

i say doing one status is not worth it at this point most people disagree but imo the speed is the only really worthwhile standalone hypnosis because it throws the pace of the game more in your favor.
it sucks unless u end it with uppercut ? his only good normal is maybe MAYBE the c mixups the mines are slow as shit the super mines suck becuaseo f damage scale and the fireballs are slow and easy to parry his jabs can be ‘red’ parried and his run is not that much better then sais walking speed
its solid but in a match i suggest u go for crossup b instead to start
i dont think u can afford the risk of getting it vs getting damage at this point

Anyone figure out what all you can unlock?
I know this much:
1st clear - Blitztank & Theatre Mode
2nd clear - Murakumo
3rd clear - Time Attack Mode
4th clear - Survival Mode
5th clear - Sugoroku Mode (board game type thing)
6th clear - Music
J.B 5B 4C 236A 5B 236B 214BC does more damage. So does J.B 5B 5C 5A 5B 214BC. You can only do this in the corner, though – we need something better off of a crossup other than:
crossup J.B 2A 5B 236B 214BC
Fun Sai thing I just found:
If you land a 236B off something like crossup J.B 2A 5B 236B, against someone who tech rolls a lot, you can opt not to super, crossup with 236C (it puts you RIGHT BEHIND THEM), then do 2A 5B ABC.
i generally hate doujin games but this is actually quite decent! i approve.
Yeah I’ll usually do it with cross up as well but it’s hard to get in a cross up when your on the wall. Especially when the AI reads everything you do.
Reason why I do the above is because sometimes I can’t get 5B to hit after 236A, I think you need a little more space from the opponent and that only works, as you’ve already listed, with jB (assuming your talking about crossing up). I usually don’t like using Light’s in game’s like this (and Melty Blood) for combo’s due to damage scaling.
On a side note…
Alright so Kanae ain’t as bad as I thought. Typical grappler but still, she is way too normal. Anyway here are some stuff I figured out with her after playing her more (last time I didn’t even give her a chance).
-6C is pretty good after a few pokes, stops alot of crap. You can repeat jabs or if it hits cancel into super.
-236 Super can be followed by 22 super. You can end any command throw with 2C for a bit of extra damage.
-Typical grappler combo’s j.C 236 super dd super = 4500+ damage or Jab + grab, etc. etc.
-2C in the air is good but I think it leaves you open if opponent blocks
-You can stop normal ground parry’s/counter by C in the air and 236 super when you land (worked on the AI when it tried to parry my C, I didn’t get countered).
I’ve also been practicing with the Nun a bit. I’m still experimenting on a wall combo but I am trying to combo in 213A, A and super cancel that… though at the moment I can’t seem to get 213A to connect even though its happened before… Gotta get my priorities straight.

j.back+A, 4B4C, 1A5B5C, 1A5B5C xx 236B+C
You can do the above wall combo w/o super and you’ll get damage around 4000.
Anyway I think its silly how you can toss Blitztank. I feel like I’m fighting a cardboard box now.
