Um no, Sins aren’t “I win” for Glads without UD. UD just makes Glads “I win” to most Sins (read; the non-good ones). But yeah, the drop rate on it is wack.
I’m still playing and enjoying it, though trying to get a group for Aether Labs is lame on my server and I need those effing quests.
a level 45 masochist
i got super drunk on saturday, came home, and started grinding non stop. bought shitloads of healing pots and went to town on the zombies. went to bed at 5 am, woke up around noon, hungover, and grinded again. completely burned out my rest xp bonus (it had been at 100%), and kept going. DING!
to my delight, level 45 only requires 73 million xp. 44 required 70 million. That’s only 3 million more, and get this, the brusthonin level 45 campaign quests gives you 3 million xp for free. goddamn, 45 will be FREE. what, with the valentines double xp weekend, this will be cake. i’ll probably fuck a hooker to take care of my needs on vday, leaving the entire rest of the weekend to take care of business.
i had my doubts about being able to hit 50 by end of march, but i totally think its doable now. boring yes, but totally feasible. and seeing how ppl rage quit over dark poeta drop rates and miragent/fenril bs, so i’m just not going to do those. I’m just gonna try to get my abyss set, which is a much better pvp set than fenril/miragents supposedly, and while farming guards i’m sure some pvp will come my way. its unfortunate that sins are nerfed in the air due to shitty coding, but it should allow to derive some enjoyment from this otherwise godawful game that is a guilty pleasure that i love to hate.

I recently got this on a friends recommendation. It’s my first MMO and I’m really enjoying it so far.
Skimming through this kinda makes me regret choosing a Glad tho.

Update to all those who still play this shitty godawful game -
I took a few weeks off from the game because I hated it so bad. Now I’m back and refreshed. Hit level 48. Originally had wanted to be 50 by end of month, so I’m gonna have to step up my grind. My plan is to hit 49 by next weekend, which is double xp, then grind for 12 hours over the weekend, which should get me to 50. Cause IIRC, 50 requires 125 million xp. On double xp I can easily make over 10 million xp per hour. So 12 hours over 2 days should be fine.
Once I’m 50 I’m gonna just grind AP, participate in some fort raids (which are surprisingly fun, despite many ppl saying theyre just a boring lag fest, I still manage to be entertained), gank some elys in heiron, and cancel my sub which runs out on april 20ish. then i’ll re sub when the shitty 1.9 patch which nerfs sins even more, check it out, and take it from there.

1% of aion is fun. i don’t want to waste time on the other boring 99%. i want to go around killing people in heiron, and then set up shop afterward with the words “quit playing this shitty game”. i think it would be great lulz. i mean i’ve ganked a coupla hundred ppl in heiron already but i feel that time can be better spent hitting 50. now i can get the best of both worlds.
so yeah, any good bot programs? i’m willing to pay the botting program too, i just don’t want to dl a spyware or shit onto my comp. i want a legit botting program. also, if there’s any good legit RMT lemme know as well.
That’s why the game is dying, it’s boring. I hit 50 many months ago, soon after release. It would seem like it would be more fun after hitting 50, and it’s not. You’re really just wasting your time, and asking for a bot on here is kind of silly.

I got banned for “using third party software” when I didn’t do anything of the sort a month or two ago. There was no way in hell I was giving them another 50 bucks to start a new game, let alone get full Daevanion gear again. My brother quit too, since I couldn’t play anymore he didn’t see the point.
I got out at the right time anyway, 1.9 and 2.0 basically render Assassins completely useless.
Yeah the same thing happened to many, many people I played with. One day I was grinding AP with a friend and he got ‘disconnected.’ He then saw that his account had been banned for ‘using third party software’ and NCSoft deleted all of his gear. NCSoft support is terrible and I’ll likely never play another game from them for that reason. I’m glad I quit Aion when I did, I don’t regret it at all.
Same, Blade and Soul looks cool but with NCSoft’s retarded supoort team I’ll NEVER play another game by them ever again.

dude i absolutely realize the endgame is garbage. i’ve been trolling aion source for a long time. all i want is a good botting program so i can hit 50, which will maximize my raping of noobs in heiron when i go rifting. every kill will result in a private shop with the sign “this game is fucking garbage and so are you”. then every time i got the curse (the one that reveals your location when you’ve killed too many noobs) then i just teleport back home, to maximize frustration. also some RMT would be nice, so i can buy some +atk speed gear. my gear is crap right now.
can’t ask on aion source or aion forums about RMT or botting because asking about those things is banned. so someone help me out. I KNOW some of you guys have botted or RMTed.
Except you’d be paying a subscription fee also on a game that is “garbage” and paying NCSoft.
