the latest patch in NA makes a small graphical icon fix. retarded. meanwhile they still havent fixed the poison not preventing flight bug

I stopped playing this game a couple weeks after the release. During beta it was actually fun, and even in retail, early level wasn’t bad.
I knew I had to stop playing when the number of bots I saw outnumbered actual players. Also mid/end game is extremely shallow and there’s no incentive to keep playing it.
Besides, I played a Templar up to 40. It was easily the most boring thing I’ve played in my life.

Yup, it may be the fact that I played Phantasy Star Universe before this and thus I’m used to much worse jobbing via the devs, but I still love the game despite the shortcomings.

LOL so just finished a MMV run with completely random pickup group. we finished allies among enemies. saw chieftan was up. our cleric was only level 34. a bunch of ppl had died multiple times. we had finished the campaign quest and wanted to go out with a bang. thought we’d all wipe. slaughtered the boss was easy.
dropped grand chieftans leather leggings, and i won the dice roll. w00000000t. ill even be able to wear it in two levels.
for once the asian MMO RNG smiled upon me.

I started a new character rofl. Leveling an SM now because they can function under 400 ping rofl.
i have an SM…they are fun but have some annoying drawbacks. Pets can’t fly…YET…which is my biggest gripe…and also, the pets don’t scale with gear and neither do ur other summons.
That was your problem right there, Templar’s are not for the people who want something of more interest. They are downright boring to play the “Shoto” characters if you will of Aion per say (I’m a Ryu purist btw)…if you don’t like the typical form, then they aren’t for you, however I particularly love their playstyle so I enjoyed them more then any other class I’ve played. You probably should of went Sin to have it more interesting or what not.
However, for me, I’m actually enjoying the game, it’s obviously not the greatest mmorpg of all time, however which one truly ever is? Currently I’m lvl 35, I would be higher, but I’ve been so busy doing other shit, I don’t get on as much as I would like too.
Funniest thing is, most of my levels came off of me soloing…I completely skipped TG, something I wished I had done now, and I’ve soloed 30 through 35, literally just extracting and grinding it out, while crafting on the side. Another beef I do however have with this game…is the cost of crafting items.
I had over 1k+ Adamantium ores that I had gathered and for just 1000 Ada to turn ingots, I had to spend 700k kinah for it, which is complete bullshit. I mean, worse yet, many times, I don’t even get the kinah that I spent back from selling them too. Has anyone ever noticed that lvl 23 green’s upwards many times sell for complete shit or else have very little value, if you don’t proc blues or oranges, then your in the shit hole, which is annoying as hell, and I’m pertaining to armor btw.
Currently in Expert Adamantium Gear set, and trying to save up more $$$ for +13 Critical’s, I’m going damage whoring, screw all that hp stacking crap :arazz:

Nothing new is on the horizon unfortunately. Only Cataclysm and even that probably won’t be untill Q4 next year, possibly Q3. There’s plenty of good games coming but with no set release dates they are all a long way off.

Tonight into this morning right now, was absolutely nuts, I’ve never killed this many Asmodian’s ever…135 kills within around 5 hours. We just tented this place, owned the bots, and real players, lmao, basically doing Asmos a favor, hahaha.
However, this one crazy Temp lvl 50 came in to battle us…even with all 6 of us…we still couldn’t beat him…he was like a walking tank, and heavy hitter. Not to mention, later two lvl 50 Sorc’s showed up and it was pretty much ggpo after that.
However, we did kill one of the Sorc’s, speed burst+IJ+Stun ='s We all ganged her. Then like an army of 10+ showed up, most lvl 5’s or lower…so we had no chance, in the end, I earned 3.4k abyss point in that one show, so I’m happy.
Can’t wait til lvl 40+, when my Temp becomes more of a beast, especially 45+ :lovin:
