Just one thing about that “cannot be countered” point…can’t Healing Root (provided another Asmo uses it on you) break it? I’ve heard it second hand (obviously since I play Elyos) so I’m not 100%, but people say it can dispel it.
EDIT: And yeah, that rooting, kiting, sleep BS is wack. Especially if you play a melee class. All melee classes should have defensive options against root/stun/sleep, and be able to use all their attacks while running AND in the air. It makes absolutely no sense that Rangers and Sorcs and SMs get a bunch of tools to keep people at their optimal distance and Glads and Sins have nothing to close in reliably and keep someone at melee distance, especially once someone takes to the air…in a game where people have wings. :wtf:

Played from near the end of BC to about the release of TOC in WotLK (stopped playing literally like, 2 weeks before it released), and I REALLY liked PvP, raiding was cool when I was with a good group (was in the top guild on my server for a bit), PUGing was horrifying and not something I want to do for content that requires half a brain. Oh, and I liked flying, haha.
re: healing root
you get 10 each from 2 one time quests, it’s also a 2% “drop chance” when you gather certain plants.

The game keeps freezing after about 20 minutes of play. Anyone else have a similar issue.
got pissed cuz a stupid named boss mob (level 43 hero) spawned on top of me and cost me 400k exp/70k money, so i did some quick grinding outside the asmo fort with my loli in the abyss.
i just have to say, once again, that spiritmasters are awesome. i can keep the DP pet buff on 100% of the time (i get 1.5 bars of ultra meter in the time it takes for the buff to wear off, and you need 1 bar to activate it), the kill speed is good (~10 seconds a mob), it’s safe, and theres absolutely NO downtime. now that we have a fort, i can just go and hump npc guards if any lolpvpranger comes prancing by, and theres no shortage of level 27 non-aggressive, non-linking mobs right outside the gate.
in terms of exp/hour it might even be faster than NTC with randoms.
grinding with a SM is actually FUN too, since it’s incredibly safe the whole time it’s like a race to see how fast you can get exp. not like gladiator grinding where the whole time youre trying not to lose TOO much life and avoid/mitigate/interrupt one of 908029830482304982 anti melee things that mobs tend to do.
