I am playing an asmodian templar on kaisinel, lvl 19, i should be higher level but I keep leveling other toons to 10 or so just so see which class I really enjoy and want to stick with.

I haven’t logged in my WoW account since I got this game SUP.

I really appreciate how you summed up my post in such a dismissive manner though, especially when my post contained disclaimers. Yes, I briefly compared it to WoW because it is like it in many ways and is obviously inspired. I am not shouting clone(even though it is clearly a next-gen mmo targetted at the same customer base as World of Warcraft with many similar features). Thank you for bringing it up though.

I am sure my experience, being ahead of the curve and the “zerg”(both regarding gank squads and fellow players filling up the leveling spots) were different. I am sure leveling is much worse when the zones are filled for instance Notice I didn’t write anything about pvp in normal zones because I didn’t experience much of it(other than stomping an elyos zerg in morheim with my guild). I just pointed out a few things I didn’t enjoy with the pvp system and the abyss. Issues such as extremely low range vs high mobility is universal and is not affected by levels.

But you need to understand that I am not trying to tell anyone Aion is bad, it’s just not my cup of tea. I have shared my opinion on the matter(isn’t that the point of forums?)and you are free to disagree with me. But don’t dismiss it with a series of points that are irrelevant to what I wrote :smokin:

in the next patch, if you start casting a spell before the target leaves range, then it’ll be a guaranteed hit

That would definately be good for the game. Doesn’t change much for me but I am sure it would improve the pvp experience I already spent too much of my life on virtual treadmills! :china:

I’m glad I’ve never played WoW, so I don’t know exactly how stupid these “this game is just like wow” arguments are

I guess there’s no point in leveling and learning new skills that have higher range or reduce enemy mobility then

There’s a reason I don’t listen to randoms below Lv28s about anything regarding PvP. Too much theory fighter from people who know almost nothing about survival in the Abyss and act like they know everything because they were hot shit in some other completely unrelated game.

WHAT? Are you for real? How in the world did you deduct from my post that I thought I was “hot shit”? I mentioned my guilds excellent organization to make a point of how confusing the pvp was early on, not to claim I was awesome.

I was level 26 well over a week ago when I stopped, well beyond 99% of the server. I’d be in the early 40s like the rest of my guild if I had kept going. Does this mean I have excessive pvp experience? No. I just grinded my ass off and pvped some in the abyss at 25-26. I am well aware of the increased availability of crowd control at later levels, but I didn’t know the range of cleric heals improved.

The funny thing is that I never claimed any awesome abyss survival skills or Aion pvp knowledge but pointed out some reasons why I didn’t enjoy the game with the limited experience I possessed as an early leveler. And yet here you are, trying your very best to find something you can bitch about to make yourself look cool and knowledgable.

Don’t have much more to say on the topic so i’ll bow out of this thread before I anger additional forum toughguys.

I made Serlic a Scout. Figured that would be interesting to play. If anyone already in SRK guild can send me a invite that will be cool. I just created the dude, and should be on later tonight to give this game a whirl.
