This game is grinding. I expected it when I bought it of course, but it is grind grind grind. I don’t see why Asians find that kind of stuff any fun. I sure don’t. I really wish MMOs would just cut out the bullshit and give us the real game out of the box, instead of making people engage in tedious repetitive tasks for literally thousands of hours before we can experience the true reason most of us are playing the game for (community, competition, engaging in large scale epic battles and slaying dargonzzz.)

having a little problem i bought the game trying to install it but its not even registering that i have the disk in the disk tray. i have a dvd drive. i pretty much have all the system reqs except my cpu is a 2.4 not a 2.8 but i cant imagine how that would effect this issue. anyone got any ideas as to why its not showing up.
i cant call tech support till tomorrow, so im coming to you guys for ideashere
You’re right that your processor’s clock speed has nothing to do with it. Can you download the game from the NCSoft site and apply your serial key?

almost 2 manned a fortress guard but got owned by magneto i mean lolreset and bored burnt out elyos so we didnt get to see how many points it gives :x

fuck finally hit 24 a coupla hours ago before the server went down in flames. i’m done for the day tho
i was planning on hitting 25 by monday but got super drunk of friday which slowed me down. tho i still managed to drunkenly sneak into black claw and finish up man in the long black robe and preparing the banquet.
yesterday i was chillin in morheim when every so often i’d so elyos run by with dozens of asmodeans on their tail. got 4 kills and a coupla abyss points. they mustve been doing that spy quest that puts you by the city. when i did that quest i stayed high up safe on the trees and used return.
today i found that i really like 2 man grinding groups are best. clerics are too good. my friend healed me, and even when he ran out of mana, i’d just solo the mobs while he rested. i was able to hit 24 this way by us teaming up against mobs that were our level and just slaughtering everything super fast. cant wait til im 25 a lot of my friends are already in teh abyss

I personally didn’t like this game much, it gave me flashbacks to my days of hardcore mmo playing and is in many ways an attempt at a potentially improved WoW with a slightly altered focus. Then again maybe it was due to the hardcore approach I take to that type of game(I just can’t bring myself to go for mediocrity at anything I do, which is both a blessing and a curse). I was among the highest clerics on the server when I quit at level 25 or 26 a while ago.
The abyss pvp, at least at that level, left a lot to be desired, especially due to how the short cast range mesh with the high mobility. I could literally start casting a spell at someone right next to me, and if that person started flying away instantly, he would be out of range before it hit 
It was also usually a complete clusterfuck with mobs involved and a lot of confusion, and that was with one of the most organized mmo clans who has been known for ‘dominating’ mmorpgs of all kinds for over a decade and contains several professional gamers from other genres. I am sure as the game is learned, mobs can be avoided more often and the confusion will be lowered, but it just wasn’t the kind of game I was after

Highest-Level Cleric meaning you were in a bunch of probably 2% of the population meaning you didn’t play with the majority of the population and most likely didn’t have the same experience in PvE/PvP.
Also, you can’t sell accounts on SRK.
