When: Saturday October 30th. Signups/Casuals 11:30-12:30. Tournament starts at 1PM.

Entry Fee: $10 per person($20 per team). Pot is split among top 3 teams. 70/20/10.

Rules: Xbox 360 systems

A-cho Format

You will use 1 character the entire tournament

No duplicate characters on a team

Double elimination format

Single sets until grand finals which will be best of 3

Example:
Team A Player 1 vs Team B Player 1 A1 wins
Team A Player 2 vs Team B Player 2 B2 wins
Team A Player 1 vs Team B Player 2 A1 wins
(Team A wins)

OR

Team A Player 1 vs Team B Player 1 B1 wins
Team A Player 2 vs Team B Player 2 B2 wins
(Team B wins)

Even if you don’t have a teammate go ahead and show up. It’s very likely other people won’t have a teammate either and you can team up at the tournament.

Bring your own controller, pad, or stick.

Hey guys I was talkin to RayBladex and he mentioned they just had a 2 vs 2 team tourny in his local scene. We tried this once back when Versus was still open and it was hella fun. Since we have another singles tournament (Slugfest) a few weeks after this event, what does everyone think about making this a 2 vs 2 team tournament? It would be a good way to mix things up and have some fun. Post up.

If it was character lock, then yes, if it was no chara lock, then i don’t really know.

I prefer character lock matches than not for team

AKA you pick your character at the beginning of the tournament and you stick with that character for the whole tournament.

Oh yeah definitely. Last time we also did no duplicate characters on a team. Probably need a no BBH/Fatbear team rule as well lol.

I think its a good idea. A good way to mix things up.

I know you are probably kidding but a rule that prevents a certain team is stupid. If the rest of the field can’t beat a team then it’s our own fault for sucking ass. No need to punish people for being good players

I’d come out for a team tourney, though I doubt anyone wants to play with my scrub ass Cammy. Also not sure if I’ll be too busy moving this month.
