VENUE FEE: NO VENUE FEE

GAMES BEING PLAYED: SSF4 (XBOX360) Tekken 6 (PS3 & XBOX 360)

REGISTRATION FEE IS 10 dollars

OTHER DETAILS: This is an all ages venue, however if you are under 18 you will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult, per the venue’s rules. If you are over 21 you must have a VALID ID in order to get drinks from the bar.

PLEASE DO NOT bring any outside food or drink, the state liqueur control board can and will fine for this.

PLEASE bring copies of SSF4 and Tekken for xbox 360 and ps3, we currently have a limited number of copies available to use.

You are also welcome to bring your own setups if you like, the venue has 10 XBOX 360s with asus displays and 2 PS3s on large flat screen TVs.

This is a B.Y.O.C.(Bring Your Own Controller) event. If needed there may be a stick or 2 able to be borrowed if need be.

Registration is $10 for SSf4 and T6. Event will start at 3pm Actual tourney will begin around 4pm this gives people time to get to the venue as well as time for casuals before the tourney. Casuals will be played after the tourney concludes as well.

IMPORTANT NOTES: If you are under 21 and try to purchase alcohol at the bar you will be asked to leave and banned from attending future events here. If you are 21 and up and try to purchase alcohol for someone under 21 you will be asked to leave and banned from future events. Please feel free to PM me with any questions you may have. SSF4 will be ran on 360. Tekken 6 will be ran on XBOX 360 or PS3 as needed.

RULES:It’s best 2 out of 3 matches. It’s double elimination and you have to win 2 matches against your opponent. Winner keeps the character loser can change characters and ultras.
Prize payout is 70/20/10

SSF4 is played 2/3 rounds Tekken 6 is 3/5 rounds.

Winners, Losers and Grand finals are best 3 out of 5 matches.

I’ve got cole onboard for the tournament. We’ll have a good solution in place for dealing with hooking up joysticks.

Once again setups and copies of SSF4 for xbox 360 will help this thing go smooth and quickly.

And please make sure you bring a stick and/or make arrangements to borrow one for use during the tournament.

If everything goes according to plan we will have some visitors from PDX joining the tournament and maybe a special guest.

Oh and if I can get a good RSVP’d head count I may be able to swing a special with the venue. But I need more people to commit to coming than came last time.

Any news about the internet at this place?

Considering this event will have potentially 30+, we’ll need a way to plug in our sticks without having to waive down an employee. Other than that, this event should be dope. Good food, SF drinks, plenty of set ups, plenty of hungry sf players, lets go.

There will be USB hubs or USB extension cables for use that should eliminate the need to have staff plug sticks in for us.

I thought it was under 18 with responsible adult and over 21 (for drinking) with proper id. I could be wrong though.

The hubs/extension cable idea is great though, people can put their profiles on MU’s and bring them in to play at the AFK. Maybe the Tavern (If they did it) will continue to leave them in place because of their awesomeness?

How much are drinks there? I miss drinking and playing video games. But mostly the drinking.

Good catch, I phrased that wrong. If you’re under 18 you need a responsible adult, if you’re over 21 you must have valid ID to drink. I’m going to ask if we can use some kind of permission form for under 18 that people can use if they can’t bring a responsible adult.

Alright, we’ll have 10 usb extension cords hooked up so connecting a joystick will no longer require a staff member.
I’ve talked to slash and it looks like streaming matches wont be a problem. So far everything is looking good.
Please bring setups, joysticks, and most importantly copies of SSF4 for xbox 360 so we can keep things moving along at a good pace.

Also the AFK Tavern staff asked me to remind everyone to please refrain from bringing any outside food or drinks into the venue.
WA State Liqueur Control Board are a bunch of Nazis on this issue.

KKF, change your tampon. Food is fine, the drinks are fine, the one drink I had I didnt like, I took it back to the bartender and they fixed it.
