No, dude. Being trained means being trained. Playing often against good competition, so one knows what to do and acts fast enough, and acts the right way. Not to mention having the execution and timing on point, which is something JF4 does not help, at all. Also, EVO has nothing to do with that.
I disagree that beating him right now would take his status away.
