I’ve been having problems hitting IATsurugi and Meaty MP Oroshi after a b.Throw Knockdown.
For the first, I’ve noticed that I keep hitting MK to soon, so it comes out like this: :uf: :d: :db:+:mk: . To solve this, I’m trying to go back to neutral before I hit MK as fast as I can. Is there any tip for this or should I just keep grinding?
Meaty MP Oroshi. What I’m doing is dash twice, MP Oroshi, but I can’t combo c.MP after it, so I think I’m doing it too late. Again, any tips?
Im fed up with m. Bison and his scissor kicks, how do you guys deal with them? If you cant tell I just got raped in endless by a scissor kick happy bison…salty doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel right now.

When getting pressured with LK SKs, use st.HK/cr.LK/cr.MK to beat his buttons. SK pressure is diverse and adaptive, though, there are many different patterns, like SK, back up, SK, or SK, cr.LK xx LK SK, or SK, st.MK, st.HK, or other forms of offense. SK pressure is in Bison’s favor, but the right read can easily turn 10 blocked SKs around into your favor.
No, that’s a totally different type of pressure. How to counter his moves depends much more on what version he does and what distance he does them from.
It’s not safe, not at all. Don’t think any normal would make it safe. There really are no “safe” karakusa setups!
That said, st. mp and st. hp are probably the “safest” to hayate cancel. st. hp leaves you too far away for normal karakusas though (except in the corner…sometimes hk karakusa will reach on certain characters), but if you’re canceling st. hp you may as well go for FFS on hit, or continue pressuring on block. You could go for a kara-karakusa I suppose, but that’s not safe either. Haitani has been knocking people outta stun with st. mp then going right into hk karakusa (no HC required), but I really wouldn’t recommend that either.
S.LK ‘Blockakusa’ would be the closest to being ‘safe’. I believe S.HP > Hayate Cancel leaves you in range for a blockakusa.
Also, not sure if it’s mentioned or if it’s useful but delayed Blockakusa or Hitakusa OS sweep. On block or hit karakusa will come out and grab, on whiff sweep will come out. Karakusa has to be done late though.
Timing for a hitakusa with HP inputted just before doing the B+Kick inputs.
I read the Blockakusa/Hitakusa section upon RoboKoto’s suggestion… And I’ve been practicing. I’ll prolly test it out before I get an answer, but for anyone else who may ask, Is a Blockakusa possible during a blockstring?
Q: Is it possible to do s.HP HC s.MP s.MP regularly or is it like character specific? I’ve spent a good hour and a half in training mode trying to land it against Ryu and the 2nd MP always ends up getting blocked.

Yeah FFSS (Fierce feint strong strong) is character specific and ryu isn’t one it works on. I can’t do anything about your request, but that’s pretty awesome!

Still, don’t underestimate mak’s bnbs! They do great damage! You could go for hayate cancel shenanigans I guess, but only do that if you think they’ll fall for them.It essentially becomes a combo into either hayate or oroshi though, depending on whether you want corner push/corner combo or a knockdown for mixups.
