Gave my input. Nothing really different stated, but considering i’ve been playing this damn char since day one (back when we were in the real deejay ghetto), I gotta show my support.

just paying respect to the ppl who put in the work and stuck thru all the nonsense. basically shaped how this character is played.

Good thing there’s no arguing in the Deejay thread on unity. Only positivity which is good.

Now looking at the other threads and some people are at each others throats lol, that’s why they have so much more replies/views.

Who asks for there character to not get better?

Personally i want all command grabs to do less damage.

At least the light versions.

There are people who deep down inside feel that if Deejay or “their” character was too good or good enough that more people started using them, they’d lose a piece of themselves or something. They won’t be special anymore. Outside of Deejay being a shitty stereotype I like him and his move set. I’d love to see him be that good., and I wouldn’t be offended to see people jumping on the bandwagon.

after playing today ex mgu 8f invincible with 2 more lower invul while being completely throwable is the fairest way to fix deejay

why do you think that’s better than HK upkicks hitting low? Just curious

its not better, its fairer.

HK upkicks always hitting crouching would make it so we always had a reversal. Our zoning has holes, but its still better than some other zoning. costing a bar to keep somebody out is pretty fair. We build it faster than anybody else in the game. Maybe yun comes close, but he can kill before that bar is filled and stun lol

You guys think Combofiend wants EX Upkicks to hit hit crouching characters too?

It turns out that cr.mp’s frame total is really useful where it is now, per my latest post in the safe jump thread. Given that, I’ve updated my thoughts on that normal in the Capcom Unity thread, suggesting improving the hitbox, switching an active frame for a recovery frame, and adjusting the hit/blockstun values to yield the same advantage as it currently has might be a better fix than just lopping off a frame of startup.

The cr.mp hitbox buff would especially be nice if combined with one/tracking for MGU so it’d connect on the whole cast after cr.lp x2 cr.mp xx MGU.

how bout this for a buff

lp mgu more range safer or more pushback
mp mgu more range but less than mgu
hp mgu same range it has now

this would allow us to chip more characters (looking at you colonel guile OMGScoots)
finish those far BNBs with a little more damage
give us something to use besides braindead double sobat.

I know a lot of deejay players who use double lk sobat and don’t even understand why it works.
i’ve even seen ass deejays with no points on xbl doing it lol
this would add another dimension to our game.

People really want to see Deejay nerfed :confused:
