Advice on turning purchase mistake into happy accidents

I’m doing a big project on my first stick build and purchased

LED buttons because I like the transparent color on chrome look.

However going back to measure the stick 51x26x16cm
I feel not only did I buy buttons too big, but if i do keep the buttons I might have to buy the necessary wires to make it work. (Forgot to check if the seller includes wires) I purchased the Brook UFB PCB with the easy install harness that fits .100/ .110 https://paradisearcadeshop.com/en/home/electrical/wire-and-power/1664_20-pin-100-110-fight-stick-harness
Which is another thing that worries me if I keep the buttons, the QDC might not fit.

So my question is, looking at the situation I could sell them for parts and take a loss. If I do does anyone know where to get or purchase parts to get a similar style?

If I keep them and they end up fitting. Does it look like I need a bigger QDC ports? Would that mess up the harness if I modded it?

Maybe something like this would work.

Thanks for the thought, but it’s been out of stock for a while now and they have no idea when it’s coming back.

Why not just get the right QDs and run your own wires, pretty simple stuff. Cleareance could be a problem but this is about the depth of a HAPP button and I have installed them in several JP cases, shouldn’t be a problem in a HRAP or a TE, anything thinner than those might be a problem.

I hope its not too thin as well but when everything comes in I’ll see.
