Yea man the HK version has always been good in close footsies and block strings. That why I dunno why some people here are saying his footsies and block strings suck. 
Good stuff Greg! I was doing the IA JK input differently. up/upforward, forward, forwarddown, down, downback, back, kick.
Yours makes more sense cause it comes out faster, but I got them out pretty fast as well.
Also, I’ve noticed in training mode the past couple of days that nj.mk combos with m.AJK, which for some reason makes it easier to combo into c.mk. Which in turn optimizes Adon’s dmg in a combo. I’m sure y’all knew that but just thought id share.
Like, hit confirmed nj.mk, m.AJK, c.mk, m.RJ, FADC, U2. Or J.RH, IOH nj.mk, m.AJK, c.mk, m.RJ, FADC, U2 (This I think does 504). The second combo is way char specific though and only works in corner[I think? (Sagat, Vega, Zang, T-Hawk)].

Like I said in the video, you just need to wait a moment before you input it like 236987 wait… input. It’s not a long pause but it has to be there for this to work.

We had more matches, but I couldn’t get them all. I lost pretty hard regardless. I think the end count was around 15/8 or something like that. He has a really solid guy and I’m not used to the match-up, but I definitely learned a lot from the matches with him.

A friend of mine that I go to ranbats with who has an extremely solid Cody. I’m starting to really know this match up, I just need to stop throwing matches and the likes because I drop combos.

Good stuff man. I think you should be using more tick throws off his cr. lk and fishing for counter hits. You also need to do ia jk, I don’t think you did one in the videos.

Thank you for the advice and im going to take that into account. My instant air jaguar kick execution is bad at the moment 
. I end up getting punished because I do it too late and im working on getting it down. Your video did help me with the inputs. But thats kinda why i dont do it as much , but ive seen gamerbees videos and how effective it is !

Edit : Watched your Adon v Guy videos man , really good stuff good block strings and use of JK. Patient play. but your not doing something in this match up which changes things considerably. Guy cannot do ANY bushin flips against Adon. Close standing fierce is a god in this match up . Try it yourself , its the only time the close fp hits with any sort of consistentsy instead of the far range fp coming out. Probably to do with the angle and jump arc of guys bushin flip. Anyway any flips at all are easily punishable by just standing fp.
