the input for the ex JK has to be really fast. if you do it too late you’ll just go flying forward. Also depending on how fast you do, you’ll either get 1 hit or 2. Probably not even the best option for after an FADC. If you’re gonna do an EX move after an fadc, might as well stick with Rising Jaguar. It’s a nice change (if it is) to Adon non the less though
how much damage does that do ^. is it worth 3 meters?
also what exactly changed about the U1 thing? I tried it point blank and I still went over the guy and even at a couple blocks away (training mode stage) and it still went over
Honestly not worth the 3 meters. might as well do Ex Rising Jaguar. Only thing I can assume is good about it is possibly a safe jump set up? too lazy to really test it out.
Along the same lines, a small change I’m noticing is that RJ-> FADC -> EX IAJK seems easier to me now, presumably because of slightly more air time give to first hit of RJ…anyone else seeing the same?
I didn’t test short IAJK, but this was definitely already possible in AE, just that the timing was really tough since it comes out slower than the EX version. I’ve never really seen anyone juggle with short IAJK, so not sure if it’s useful anyway…but if you can EX IAJK just as easy as EX RJ, that’s very useful to me at least.
Well, only played a little, but I haven’t noticed a change at all with U1…Also, I swear I did MK RJ>FADC>U2 and crossed under…autocorrect worked fine (as it always did…)but I don’t really see any change with the timing whatsoever…this change, if it really exists, makes no difference whatsoever. What were they hoping to achieve with this???
I basically feel like we have the exact same Adon, minus 10 damage on two of his JKs (his best moves)…blah.
Considering the buffs to the rest of the cast, I feel like he will slide down a few spots on the tierlist. Could have been a lot worse, but I still feel he needed at least one small buff.
Hopefully some better players will discover something useful that wasn’t mentioned.

Adon is almost the same, just with a better focus attack, maybe the jaguar kick medium and light trade more often, it’s easier to juggle in the corner with the rj medium and the ultra II and now we can dash forward and use the ultra 1 after a focus attack.
We still have the same problem with the rising jaguar against crouching characters wich means the close mp is still useless.
Here’s some hidden buffs that I found for Adon… I’m almost 90% positive that it changed, because I used them a lot in matches and they definately feel different in a good way :D.
Hitbox extended downwards for Far S.mp. This poke can now reach very far. Try it on a crouching Sakura. You will feel the huge difference right away.
Hitbox extended forwards for Cr. mk. This poke can now hit his opponent with the tip of his toe. A very good poke now. Very noticeble for thoses who use it a lot.

I’m not sure for that one, but Far S.hk seems to reach even farther… Like it can now hits with the tip of his toe. Need to confirm this.
Overall, looks like Capcom improve some of his poking tools to compensate for the JK nerfs…
Not bad, but could’ve been better, but coud’ve been worst… I really wanted a faster Cr.hk and a faster overhead, but oh well…

I think the game allows you to change the version… at least back to super it does.
I dont think far. s.mp or cr.mk was changed in from super. So test in that swap and voila. ill give it a go in a mo
some like cr.hp were changed… but meh I already use that move, if its range is buffed then great
can anyone confirm if rj FADC ex.jk is character specific… I cant get it to work on Chun? also I cant do lk.ajk against her after an FADC. ill try a few characters maybe im being slow.
But um I was playing some sets today and I used crouching hard punch as a counter poke like in close to mid range and I was pulling it off consistently, kinda like how guy uses his crouching hard punch. Can anybody see if you can link anything with this cause I really doubt ya can
rj>>FADC>>ex.jk is not a hard knockdown. Confirmed that last night. Timing is very strict as well. Too early you will ex. jk past your juggled opponent, too late you miss your opponent as they hit the ground. Decent damage (On Ryu) just not sure if worth 3 bars.
