Acrylic/Plexiglas for HRAP 3/EX & TE, and More - First post updated with Dust Washers

So how do I pre-order a couple of these?

The best thing to do at the moment, is sit tight for a couple more days. Arthong is in the process of updating the fashion in which you can order them.

YEAH! I got my tracking number last night:party: Thanks arthong… now I’m just waiting on my buttons from LL:bluu:

Do you think that it is possible to ship outside U.S. ? (I live in Europe)

Have you ever done that before ? I know it might be risky since plexiglass plates are fragile…

I assume this can’t be installed without voiding the warranty right? You’d have to open it up and pull out the buttons and whatnot.

I might consider this after the 90 day warranty is up, but with all the reports of bad PCBs out there, I wouldn’t recommend opening your stick until you’ve played with it for a week or two just to be sure you don’t need to send it back for repairs.

Actually you’d be surprised how flexable plexiglas actually is. Here’s a pic of a 1/16 being bent (don’t worry, this isn’t anyone’s, it’s just one of my scratched ones, lol)

I still tell people to be careful, like if you drop it on the corner it can still chip, or if you rip out your buttons with too much force you could cause a lot of stress to the edges, which may chip or cause a crack. But these things are actually pretty resilient.

Regardless, I still pack it pretty good in the box. You can see a sample of my packing here: http://www.tek-innovations.com/arthobbies/shipping.html

I have already shipped to Canada and it was received in perfect shape. I’ve shipped to the UK before with other things in the past, so it’s not new to me. But the cost can be up there as I prefer to ship Priority overseas. When my order system is up, I should have a few international rates listed.

Yep, you do have to open your stick up to install this… just as you would to install buttons. Take your time, I could use a break every now and then =D

This sounds good to me

I’ll be ordering one as soon as I can get a stick.

Do you have any idea how much shipping to France would cost (approx) ?

I live near Toronto, Canada and even though us Canadians are getting screwed with our sticks, I would like to preorder this as well. Thanks arthong!

What is your email… I keep seeing that we should email you to have you send a paypal request, but I’ve combed your site and see no email #…

I would love to preorder one as soon as possible! When you make the information available for preordering, of course.

He is updating the way orders are placed. And he’s still in the process of churning out the last batch of orders, so he has a lot on his plate at the moment.

Please give him a couple of days to get his new website up, and new ordering process in place.

any news on the HRAP1 cover :frowning:

My apologies, Buddy. Haven’t had a chance to even glance at the HRAP1 and other stuff yet. Still rushing to get my new site and system up. Still have many unanswered inquiries and haven’t even touched SF4 in over a week :crybaby:

Please bear with me =)

got mine today it was so thoroughly packaged i was afraid i might break it in my hurry to get it out. I’ll be printing out my art tommorow!

Cool beans I’ll keep checking back. I want one for TE with only six button holes cut. Will I be able to order one off of the website or do I need to put in a special request?

Got mine today. Even the flawed one I added looks pretty damn good!

Modded!

I got the plexi today. Very impressed with the quality. :woot:

Here is the final result:

Excellent!

Damn… now you make me want another printout of that and the button color scheme… :clapdos:

If only LL still wasn’t so backed up =P

Looking forward to seeing it!

Lol, nice =). I try to give out the “lesser” flawed ones first.

Once the new website and ordering system is up, there will be the option to select your button configuration. Whether it be all 8, first 6, or last 6 =).

Damn, you’re taking this all the way. Great stuff, I’m waiting for mine.
