silver screw + sharpie = black screws… 
be sure to do it with the screws off the stick… don’t wanna mark up your plexi…
I’m sure spray paint would last even longer…
I also cleaned up the art by running the sharpie across the edge to mask the white paper showing…
heh i did the sharpie thing on my turbo box but somehow didn’t think to do it around the edges.

It is possible to cut glass, but I doubt the wattage of my laser can heat it high enough to do so. But unless you’re planning to just leave your stick on display and never play it, glass may not be a good option.
Glass is very fragile. Certain vibrations can crack and shatter it with ease. Accidentally bang your controller ever so slightly against a table, and there it goes.
Of course, there’s also different qualities of glass, like shatterproof and those really thick tempered ones used for glass tables… but that’s going to cost quite a bit and it’ll take a much different mechanism to cut.
Overall it’s either a very fragile and dangerous option, or an incredibly expensive one =P

Hey Arthong, did you ever get around to trying a thinner piece of plexiglass than 1/16"?? I only ask because I noticed that for the TE in particular, the plexiglass seems to jut out slightly higher than the red bezel. I wasn’t sure if that was still something to try possibly in the future, or if you actually wouldn’t recommend trying something thinner than 1/16". Anyway, love the work you’re doing for the community; I hope to get one myself sometime in the future.
