Acoustic/piano covers

Ya, i love listening to acoustic and piano renditions of songs made by people on youtube, and i’m planning to make one my self.

I don’t consider this guilty pleasure because guitars (acoustics) are one of my main hobbies. Anyway, i’m interested in female covers. I’m looking for something in youtube or anywhere that has some talented chick doing an acoustic of what ever song. The one i want to here is a female rendition of All 4 1’s - I swear. Since i haven’t found one, i’m planning to make one soon.

Anyway, if you guys got/know any great renditions out there, post it up. Hope this inspires some of the musicians here.

here’s a link to marie digby. Again, i like female covers… i don’t know why. I like a pretty girl playing the guitar and singing a song originally sang by a guy. It doesn’t matter if i don’t like the band (maroon 5 for example); if the chick managed to pull it off and make me like it. then that’s cool. Back to marie digby, i’ll post 3 of her renditions/covers for you guys to check out. She’s hot and extremely talented. I’m not all too much of a fan of her original songs (Say it again) but she nails the following cover songs pretty good imo.

- You give me something (james morrison)

- make me believe (maroon 5)

- what i’ve done (Linkin park)

is there a post on srk where we can hear each others covers? im learning to play and sing with piano, anyone else?

ahm… well, what we can do is probably make a youtube or multiply account and just upload all our stuff there? post some shit up dude

i’ve only been doing this for less than 2 years and it takes much longer than that to get good. here are some videos that were on private, theyll be up for a little while:

- Feb soft style
- June louder style
for the hell of it

i like the old motown songs and pop-blues. tryin to go for that old sound not r&b. and ha i did cut my hair damn that shit was long

thats pretty good

thanks…urs?

Boyce Avenue. They’re an indie band out of Florida. They have their own original material, but the covers they’ve made are what got them famous and able to record their own album. Very acoustic guitar-driven.

EDIT: just realized you were looking for female cover artists. woops. =P
