When have we ever had consistent results for GG at Evo? And really, when has anybody in the US ever had extensive exposure to every character anyhow? So it’s not like anybody is any worse off than usual.

Well atleast you can see the japanese consistantly beatin us down. lol but ID was consistant for a while Ruin and marn will probably continue to be consistant. If a game produces inconsistant results, then the game itself is inconsistant and random.

They don’t play Slash anymore, so if it’s credibility you’re after you wouldn’t get much by beating them in a game they left in the dust. Why would top level Japanese players show up for an old game? They probably wouldn’t, or at least have less incentive to. That’s my only point. No Japanese cockriding in there, and I’m not accomodating the Japanese. Simply stating the truth. You would, perhaps, beat them in Slash and win the prize money but would that prove you the better player? I personally don’t think so because these players do not actively practice Slash anymore.

Gamers play games to have fun… not to beat the nose of a Japanese guy into the ground. Slash isn’t fun anymore and I don’t wanna play that kind of game cause my chances of winning will shrink further if I don’t have fun with what I’m doing. Let’s look at the scenario. Arturo came to the tournament 6 hours late. He had NO teammate, Justin ditched him. I had a teammate who has played teh game once in his life. My entry was free so I didn’t really care. I offered Arturo a teammate aka me. He accepted, he could’ve EASILY said no and gone and picked up a ‘serious’ player… OH WAIT, ALL OF THEM WERE TAKEN. If I don’t play Arcana Heart seriously, how bout when I head up there, you prove to me that you’re better if you’re a serious player and I’m not. I won’t even touch the game anymore, and I’ll still trash you.
