During the ST qualifing rounds Daigo used the random select so he played charachters like Dee jay,zangief,T Hawk and was winning with them.
During the The A3 5 on 5 UK vs Japan ,i remember Heat’s (v-zangief) close victory over Daigo (V-Ryu) with a kattobi cancel finish.And in the gief vs gief match (Heat vs Ino) Ino making a great comeback (with zero life bar) :jumping jab counter hit and CC jumping roundhouses combo and a SPD.
There were high levels of play and we had a lot of fun.
We had a taste of Daigo’s Urien,Yun and Hugo at 3d strike !( he was doing Ume -backbreakers):lol:
Also i’ve seen Chikkyuu play with a “normal” character :eek:
He played once V-Nash against me but it was definately not his style:lol:

Our matches in the hotel ST were cool and I’m still a little sad you didn’t DIE to my jump fierce with Guile in the tourney lolol. I guess that’s one to store till we play again

PM me if you do It was great to experience a different culutre of gaming first hand and it really inspired me to play again…the only way i’d ever take games up seriously again is if I went to Japan. Playing those few games with Daigo in the hotel was a learning experience… afew little things in ST i’ve never seen before and to think that’s my game! I’ll take my perfect on him as a great moment in my gaming career lol
I had no confidence in using any circle characters at the tournament so I stuck to chargers…next time …we’ll have to find a way to strap all sticks down in some way…there was no way I was going to use Ryu with no belief i’d get my dp’s out. I hope you guys had a great time and lots of memories to take back with you. We enjoyed your stay and we’ll be talking about it for a long time yet.
