Lmao 1 min and I have already incorporated this into my Rog play…you can jump forward then rush or do super right away…What are the possible combos anyways??
I was messing with this glitch and Bison (Dictator) could do like 3 walking S.Short and link with a C.Forward to special. Don’t know if S.Short x 3 - C.Forward is possible on Zangief without walking, but I know you have to do the 3 walking S.Short in order to link to C.Forward against small people like shotos, Cammy, and Chun Li.
I wonder if the Cross Up J.Roundhouse - Close S.Short - walk - Close S.Short x 2 - C.Forward - Roundhouse Knee Press will either kill or 90% damage Akuma? Pretty hard to fully complete, since the first hit of the Knee Press will mostly daze. I know it will do like 85% damage on Ken, if you manage to get this.
Edit: Forgot that you can add more walking shorts on Honda.
Yeah, jab sonic boom into walk up sonic boom is a 2-hit combo.
jab sonic boom > walk up close st.fierce > fierce sonic boom > backfist is my new favorite bullshit combo
Any possibility of some videos being posted up of certain characters who gain a huge advantage from doing this?
Like, could Guile now win all fireball wars now, what with no longer having to worry about charge times?
I find this really really difficult to do in practice, though. You guys might have much better dexterity than I do, but for me this is pretty much prohibitively difficult heh.
No, I don’t think so. Unless it’s possible to charge a boom on both the analog and d-pad, which I don’t think it is.
You still have to lose the charge after walking forward or whatever, since you have to do the rest of the input with the analog stick.
Well I did this trick with both the analog stick and d-pad. So like, holding back on the d-pad while holding forward with the analog stick and then pressing forward on the d-pad gets you a sonic boom, and holding back on the analog stick while holding forward with the d-pad and then pressing forward on the analog stick also gets you a sonic boom. I kept switching back on one and forward on the other to back on the other and forward on the first, pressing punch each time I switch, and it got me a sonic boom each time.
I believe this will exist in sf4 as well. The problem is not the game, but the xbox controller. The source of this is the d-pad. IF you can, press both back and forward on the d-pad. It will also work. You don’t need the analog stick for this to work. The analog stick can only go in one direction while the d-pad can do both.
Its still up to the game to decide how it handles both forward and backwards being input at the same time. You can see some really interesting glitches in old NES games where people would use this.
You’re so wrong it hurts. I tried it out on XBL and my E. Honda is unbeatable. Autoblock and walk forward super and/or jab headbutt? Not practical??
Just move the analog stick to d/b when they’re going to sweep. You keep your charge and block low.
Play my Honda. I perfected a Dhalsim player over and over with walk up jab headbutts. I don’t think he can do anything.
While I don’t think this will ruin the game, I definitely recommend a patch. I was messing with this online, and though it was quite fun I think it’s overall detrimental to the game. It’s just really really stupid, and it gives player 1 a pretty big advantage by starting out on the left.

Oh my god. Comboing into super is so easy. Press jab then negative edge mp and jab while pressing back forward. Jab xx super. I wonder if I can get jab jab super.
I seriously LOLed in real life watching that
As if Honda needed more powerups
Endless,
Maybe you will find Dictator even more entertaining?

Yep…not just for Chun anymore.
Charge partitioning? Nope…it is Boxer’s new footsies game:

can we call people who use chun-li’s stored super cheaters now?
Forget combos, think about lockdown!
If you can manage 2 charges now, Guile must have a 100% lockdown. Other characters possibly as well.
In a game without alpha counters, lockdowns are an instant kill.
Now someone just needs to wire up one of those little analog sticks on the very top of an arcade stick.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Yeah and people can also do cool things like a block button and press it every time they walk toward.
