@Feargus001100 , I had a brain fart there. Are you planning on dual modding this support into a stick? If so, are you using an rj45? If not, a regular usb out isn’t going to work for what you want. If you’re planning on using this stick with other non-usb consoles (psx/dc/snes/etc), you would be better off having a separate line out for your wii support (which will really be your easiest route anyways, imo). If you’re only planning on using this for the systems you listed, you wouldn’t need any switching device anyways.
Seeing as I only needed a pair of scissors, a screwdriver and the nail of my index finger, I figure anyone could do it. So don’t take this as bragging, I’m honestly looking for help on this. Didn’t see any note about how to do it online, probably because there is something wrong with doing it.
I managed to keep the LED circuit for my Qanba Q2 Pro and swap out the plungers. (I’m aware of how noob this idea is). My Qanba buttons were having some input failure.
The thing is, I actually don’t mind the shortness of the button press from switching out the plunger with a Seimitsu (“No this mother fucker did not.” I know, I know. But it’s my first time modding, cut me some slack)
I’m a heavy LP hitter, my hands are like three times the size of my forearms for god’s sake. So I figure if the press stops short, I’m actually saving the life of the plunger. Would that be completely wrong and I just don’t know my shit and need to just get a new button? Or is this mainly about how the press feels? Cuz frankly when I play I don’t mind the difference (probably cuz X-Men machines had short presses where i come from)
Just want some advice is all. For the record I did a button check already and everything is normal and lights up. There were snap-in areas for the LED circuit and the plunger itself, so I figure it’s just a difference in the way they make the plunger.
I’m having an issue with my stick… It’s dual-modded(PS360, I believe) and it’s been working fine. However, I just went to a tournament and it wouldn’t work at all on the 360s there. The home button lights up(full ring), but it doesn’t fully connect. Got home and tried it on my PS3, and it’s the same thing. The button lights up, but that’s it. Anyone familiar with this problem?
What method are you connecting your PS360 to the console: RJ-45 or USB? If you haven’t already, try using a new cable or switching to the other option and see if the results are the same.
I have had my hori rap kai forevery and I have never had door issues. The compartment is big enough to fit the cable without forcing it in so that when you close it there is no pressure pushing on the compartment door. Kind of the opposite to the TE compartment door.
Just buy a stick you like and put it in a bag for portability. Handles and straps should be the lowest priority item on your checklist for a good stick.
I don’t even know how to go about that lol. It has the default Xbox 360 break-away USB cable. May have to change out the PCB entirely… Don’t even know how to do that.
