How do I desolderā¦
To remove solder you need to heat it with your iron, then use either a āsuckerā or a wick to remove the solder before it sets again. They should sell both at radioshack or any electronics store. Google āsolder wickā or remover for more info.
You can desolder by heating up the bad solder joint and using a desoldering pump (looks like a air sucker) or desoldering braid to remove the molten solder before it cools and hardens.
Post up pics of your solder job so we can see where you messed up on the paewang and how to do it right
Desoldering Pump.
Desoldering braid is another less effective option.
Screw terminals take the place of soldering. Instead of soldering the wire to the point, the screw terminal is soldered to the point. At that point, you only need to insert the wire to the terminal and tighten it down. Think of it as a junction block thats been soldered to the board, more or lessā¦
For that EXACT look youāre gonna have to do some painting. The side wings on the TE are either black or white, so those woould have to be painted or dyed green. The bezel on top of the artwork would also need to be painted. Sanwa does have green buttons, either with a black rim or a green rim, but they may not have the exact hue you are going for.
In short, it can be done, but if you want it to be just like that youāll need to put in a little work.
I just got my TE stick, cheaaā¦And in training mode I can throw fireballs,dp, dp fadc to ultraā¦Surprised I can even do that being its my first stick and the first day but during matches i kinda get lost to where my stick position is and end up doing random punches or kicks when I want a special move. With a octagon gate is it easier to know exactly if you in DB or UF etcā¦? Like will i be able to feel each of the 8 position for the stick, I guess that is what I am saying.Cause with the square gate i think im in DB and im just in down lolā¦yeaā¦Thanks for the help in advanceā¦
I have a TE-S and changed the buttons/ball top yesterday. When screwing back the 6 bolts (the hexheads on top), one of the nuts that holds the bolt in place somehow got loose and fell in the case.
I got the nut out, but i couldnāt find a way to reassemble it. Tried opening the bottom, but couldnāt get to the part where the nut should be.
I canāt screw in the bottomleft hexhead bolt now, any tips on how to fix this?
I rarely play on xbox360ā¦especially with wireless padsā¦
so, how important is the connect button??
Iām nearly done with my custom wireless stick, but Iām considering on modding my caseā¦so I can press that connect buttonā¦
if youāre new to sticksā¦youāll need time to adapt.
I often switch to 2 different sticks, because I have one that uses Sanwa JLF⦠And aonther with Taiwanese partsā¦So at first I needed time to get used to , because both of them feel different.
So, just practice with your new stickā¦read this guide if youāre having trouble switching from pad to stickā¦

And later, if you still feel you want to order an octo gateā¦then go aheadā¦
Where can I find artwork for my TE stick, can anyone make it or is there or store someone knows?
You could always go and request someone do some artwork for you in the Image Mishmash section, otherwise D3v around here does commission work for a very reasonable fee.
Depedning on how you wired your stick, the Xbox SHOULD sync with the stick via the USB pad. That said, Iāve heard that sync can be hit or miss. Worst case scenario if you donāt have a sync button wired up youād have to take the bottom cover off to sync to another Xbox.
Will a XCM Cross Battle Adapter Plus for Playstation 3 / PS3 converter made for wired 360 controllers work with sticks?
ā¦also, how do I install my 360 TE on my computer? It says it canāt find the driverā¦
Probably a dumb question, but Iāve spent nearly an hour between Google and the various SRK search functions to no avail, soooo:
I know that most Japanese sticks (basically all of them beyond the huge Seimitsu and possibly the tiny Seimitsu) will fit in a Madcatz Fightstick TE. And I know that Happ sticks can fit with a lot of dremeling and removing of the internal mounting plate.
My question: What about Korean sticks (Crown, MyoungShin, TaeYoung)? Will they fit in the Madcatz Fightstick TE? Will it require dremeling of the bottom plate? Will it require widening the joystick hole in the plexi to accomodate the āpedestalā that accompanies most Korean sticks? Or are the sticks so tall that the only way to experiment with Korean parts is to get Powerful Game with a Salubi stick?
So I know you can put art work in the semitsu ps-14-k screw in buttons⦠But I was wondering if i can do it with the snap in ones?
Yes.
Is there ANY way to stop the nuts coming loose on PS-14-K-Ns? Countless times now Iāve had to open my stick just to retighten them and itās driving me up a wall ¬_¬
things to try:
Teflon Tape
Rubber Glue
Hot Glue
Loctite threadlock
