thanks so much, sakabato24, i don’t know how i missed it.

So I’m contemplating whether or not to buy a Mad Catz T.E stick, and I see that SVB only has SSFIV on 360.

Hello all, I am sure this is an easy question to find but I looked at the first page and could not find it.

What is the BEST adapter for PS2 controllers to go on PS3 and or 360?

Best.

Hey guys, im gonna mod my new “S” stick, just wondering which version of Seimitsu buttons will fit ?
Wanna get some clear ones.

Cheers

All of them will.

Can I use the wire off just about any commonly used calbes to wire up my buttons to the pcb? I’m having trouble looking for hook-up wire, or plain ol’ 22 AWG, or any size gauge wire…

Is it possible I use the cables off of: USB or Headphones?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t these cables all just stranded copper wrapped in coloured rubber?

I probably haven’t looked far enough and am going to look like a moron here, but is there anyone here or any online services that do stick-art printing?

Thanks for the help in advance and a huge sorry if there’s somewhere completely obvious that I missed.

Kinko’s can do online printing.

Disregard my last post I decided I’m using 30 gauge wire.

Does anyone know how long the happ buttons are + the microswitch? I concenred if the 6cm height of my case may not hold it.

Edit: They only seem to shit to america D:

i googled Kinko’s UK and I recieved something so i dunno then, sorry for giving your hopes up :frowning:

At first I wasn’t going to say Fedex becuase I was sure as hell Fedex is a north american thing… but I tried anyway.

I think this is the place for me to ask this question so please could someone help me out?
First of I just want to let you guys know that I am using the MadCatz SE stick with the stock parts.
Can you replace the button connection cables? I have one that seems to not be working properly.
Explanation below:
Last night wile playing SSF4 I noticed that my HK (R2 key) button was not responding properly so I decided to swap out the button with one of the black buttons. On my first attempt I broke the button but I learned from my mistake and swapped it out for the other last black button. After doing this I began playing again but the HK (R2 key) was still not responding properly, so after something thinking I decided to change connectors (the small cable that goes to the buttons). I finally swapped out the L2 connector cable with the R2 connector cable and was able to get my HK working again after setting up my buttons.

@Ruisu :
Yes, you can swap out your wires and QDs.
While you are at it, swap out the stock parts on the SE and get Sanwa/Seimistu Buttons and Joystick. The stock SE parts crap out real fast, and thus, this is why you are having trouble using it. I’d also suggest to ask someone else here about the PCB on the SE, since they too, crap out real fast and it might turn out to be a PCB problem instead of a wiring problem.

No no, don’t apologize, least you tried

Kinkos in the UK pretty much got sold off to come company who have a pretty useless website for custom ordering

Thank you for the suggestion though, it was appreciated

i would say just find a template of what stick your using and use photoshop to make the art. take the image to a local print store (doesnt have to be fedex kinkos) and just have them print what you need and cut it out yourself. you have 2 options: 1) get it printed on a Lamilable(SP?) or 2) get it printed on paper and get a Plexiglas top for it.

here are a few website to help you out:

hope this helps

Yes thanks for the info. I’ve had the SE since SF4 came out and I am ready to order the parts from lizard licks since they are only 10 minutes way. I just needed to know if this meant that I had to fix something before I did any upgrades. If it is a PCB problem I guess I’m kinda out of luck until I ask someone to help me out. lastly where can I get the wires? and do they come with the small metal connectors on each end?

It does, thank yous. Only thing I’m worried about…will it print to the right size with the TE template being sent over as a PSD? Or do I have to resize it?

there used to be a local print shop here but they moved. So Online is probably my best option so thanks for the links
