Not 100% sure, but I believe I’ve heard it’s on the same board as the turbo button/lights. It says XGUILD I believe? Someone might want to confirm this.
So, I could have soldered to those points… ah man. That would have saved me some effort. But, I took the PCB assembly apart and I found the contact and I soldered straight to it and it works. Thanks for all the help. I really appreciate it. Now that I know how to do it I could probably do the next one twice as fast with proper prepwork.
Now I need to pick up some 360 fighters…
Yes, the bottom is cooler.
The top, you have to route the wire.
Route so that the wire is not in way of button.
Sorry, totally read that wrong. I am curious though, since I am doing a dual mod on a PS3 TE R1 stick, are the turbo/home solder pads in the same spot as the TE-S? I haven’t had a chance to look at it yet.
Also, if using an Xbox 360 Brawlpad, PS3 TE R1, and Imp v2, is there a way to make the LS/DP/RS switch work for Xbox 360 also? Could you explain please?
Thanks!
where can I go to buy custom tekken5 metal panel?
That picture is actually of the original TE.
Same point for TE “S” one.
For LS/DP/RS to work on Xbox 360 side, you will solder to back of PS3 TE PCB.
Just match the back of BrawlPad to the PS3 TE PCB.
You better do it fast.
Lightning Label Customs is the only who provide Custom Metal Panel.
And Lightning Label Customs is doing one last run before he quit in a month.

Just so you know, although it’s not EXACTLY what you asked for, you can use your existing metal plate and get an art cutout and plexiglass cover for it from Art at http://www.tek-innovations.com/arthobbies/?loc=products&cat=5
Thank you very much for this, I’ll look at the boards before I mod the stick this weekend, and if I have any more questions I’ll take pictures and ask!
Oh, I do have one more question, as I read some posts that confused me as to whether or not there’s additional wiring needed between the TE and brawlpad. Since I am using an Imp v2 board, I know I would hook up the VCC and Ground wire like:
PS3 TE GRD / VCC -> Imp v2
Brawlpad GRD / VCC -> Imp v2
Do I also have to connect separate wires from the GRD / VCC on the TE to Brawlpad, or does the Imp v2 PCB take care of that? I thought that this way was correct, but I read that some people are saying you also have to connect the two boards with two wires: one each for GRD and VCC.
Thanks, and hopefully I will have my board fully wired this weekend! I’m hoping to take some pictures and label the Brawlpad since I couldn’t find any diagrams/photos of it, and I’ll try to submit them to the padhacking thread for future reference. EDIT I did find one, but I want to make it a little cleaner.

quick question where should I get my art printed and what are the dimensions I ask for and size of paper? Ive been searching and looking around in the threads and I just can’t seem to find this portion of information. This would be for a TE stick
The “ball” on my TE is starting to get really loose, just by barely touching it starts to unscrew itself, I can’t see anything off by looking at the ball or the stick “tracks” but I guess it could be worn out and does that mean I need to buy a new stick/ball or is it possible to fix it at home?
Sorry for the bad explanation.
The underside of the shaft has a notch for a flathead screwdriver. You need to put a screwdriver in there to twist the balltop on tightly enough that it will stay.

Thanks man, works fine now.
Quick question:
I’m looking to get a USB cable suitable to run between a SIXAXIS board and a console/PC.
Do I need a standard A - mini A, or a standard A - mini B?
You want a Standard A - mini B. Just search for “Mini USB Cable” on Amazon.com and you’ll find it for sure, you don’t need to specify A and B really (I just searched it and the first 3 items were the correct cable.) You DON’T want Micro USB, though, so just make sure it doesn’t say that. If you’re worried about getting the wrong cable, just make sure the “mini” end looks like a trapezoid, and NOT a square with one rounded side.
Outstanding, thank you.

Absolutely, no problem! ^ ^
Your best bet imo is to go to http://www.tek-innovations.com and get it done there. He not only sells the plexiglass, but he also prints the art and cuts out your button layout for you. Here is a direct link to your options for a TE stick:
