Yes.
But you only need one Ground.

Connect FightPad Ground to PS3 TE PCB.
Connect PS3 TE Ground to Imp v2.

Or any combination.
As long all three PCB connected.

Reuse the original HORI long screws.

One last question from me: What’s the general consensus of the Paewang Revolution PCB? Is it a good PCB to use for a first-time custom stick, or am I better off waiting for the PS360+?

According to the PDF that comes with the imp, doesn’t it have a solder point to connect both pcb grounds?

Not sure which way I’ll do it yet, but for the first mod, I may as well follow the pdf. Anyway, I just ordered the imp today, so I’m not too concerned at the moment.

Do you have a PS3 TE PCB diagram for where all the inputs are? (I haven’t taken a close look at mine yet, I’m planning everything before I start doing anything serious).

I can at least start with the Fightpad to the main PCB now, as I’ve already picked up both.

Hey, My Jab, Roundhouse and Fierce buttons on my hori vx are broken and i was thinking about replacing them with sanwa parts, but i dont know if i need the 30 mm ones or the 24 mm’s .

There 30 mm

Thanks.

I have a Madcats TE S that I want to paint. I’m a little stumped on how to paint it though because i want to paint the sides different colors from the main body. Will i be able to remove the sides like in this video here?

I bought an empty t5 shell, no screws no top plexi, just trying to get the screw size and another thing since I have no plexi how thick does the plexi has to be for it to fit snap in sanwa buttons? including metal panel

Yes.

I installed a hollow shaft into my qanba, and actually forgot how to take the SHAFT back out.

I tried to take it out via flathead screwdriver.

Any suggestions?

Sorry for the dume question but on my brawlstick the USB wire ripped just at the connection to the stick, can tape fix this?

No, rewire it using crimp terminals, or resolder the wires and then wrap them in electrical tape.

Video by Nerrage of Tech Talk.

I had come here earlier with some vague information trying to get a response but didn’t have any pictures or idea of the problem. I opened up the stick more and found, mostly, wires had come loose from their designated connections. This is my first time opening the stick (someone else did the mod for me; it is a 360 TE with MC Cthulu and RJ-45 mod). The pictures aren’t decent quality but I have some idea of what to do and need some guidance before I handle this incorrectly.

One side of SELECT came loose, and the other side of the START/SELECT wires are going nowhere.

The wires labeled U/D from the 4 pin connector (I have no idea what this board is for) are going nowhere, either.

When I lifted this wire to move it out of the way, it just snapped off; its very flimsy. It was connected to “XGUILD” and was the only connection “above” the board (the rest were soldered underneath).

And here is the situation of my MC Cthulhu board. UP/DOWN are missing a black wire each, START/SELECT have no wire at all, and there is a wire leaving GND connected to nothing.

As I put these together I made some obvious conclusions, and I’m assuming I just have to put the one loose side of SELECT back into the quick disconnects, connect the red/black START/SELECT wires to the Cthulhu, shove the UP/DOWN wires from the 4-pin into the already-occupied UP/DOWN sections on the Cthulhu, and I’ve heard that you can use any GND on the Cthulhu so I’m guessing this GND is some extra wire, but is there any idea where it should be, if anywhere?

I’m also curious about the XGUILD wire mishap, and I’m not sure how to put the wires into the blue sections on the Cthulhu. I don’t want to force them in by hand and have them come loose again.

Thank you in advance for any advice.

Sorry again but the stick works fine its just the insulation tore due to twisting, do i still need to do all this?

I currently have a Hori v3 fightstick and am planning to swap out the stock buttons with seimitsu parts. I personally don’t want to re-solder the buttons on again and would much rather wire each button back onto the daughter board.

Other than the buttons, what parts do i need to wire the whole stick together?

thanks in advance for the help

My dual modded TE doesn’t turn on, one time all the lights lit up the turbos and the homekey and they wouldn’t turn off. Now the home key blinks once before shutting off. All the wires look in place idk what it could be.

What did you dual mod it with.

I am curious what the size difference is between a Madcatz SE and a Madcatz TE? Sorry if this isn’t the place to ask this
