Hi, The other day I was watching some vids and this EL Fuerte player ‘Dawgtanian’ said he experienced some kind of lag in his first two bouts. He later realised the reason was the lever on his TE stick (the lever that is situated next to the Turbo functions and above the lock/unlock swith) was on LS and not DP ( there’s also a RS option). Now, my question is, what does this lever do? I always had it on LS and after reading what he said, I tried it on DP and I don’t know if this is a coincidence but after I switched over, I completed EL Fuerte and Abel’s hard trial 5 straight away! which before I couldn’t manage to do. During gameplay, I don’t notice any difference though. Somebody know?

As far as I know, if you hold a direction while it is on LS (Left Stick), it will continue to hold the stick in that direction for a brief moment even if you let go. This can lead a lot of weird scenarios, and probably a lot of execution errors. If you put it to DP (Directional Pad), the stick will work like it would normally.

What type of bolts do I need to install a JLF into a custom plastic case? I will probably be bottom mounting, so the bolt heads will be visible on the surface, is that annoying? I’m not really sure how else to mount it.

What is the quickest and easiest way to get a PAL PS2 to play NTSC and NTSC-J games?

Any difference between Sanwa and Seimitsu LB-35 balltops?

Just their colors and the bottom.
Sanwa and Seimitsu colors of the same colors do not match.
The bottom of a Seimitsu is more flat than bottom of a Sanwa.

Sanwa LB-35-P on left. Seimitsu LB-35-P on right.

You can see that the Sanwa has a darker pink than Seimitsu.

Guide for Saturn->Gamecube converter?

Hey, I’ve been doing some research on upgrading my controls to play TvC on Wii. What I’m interested in doing is putting together a Saturn -> Gamecube converter, just for the fun of trying to mod something. I found mojochan’s website ( http://denki.world3.net/ ) for electronics projects after looking around in several threads here, and saw guides to build a Saturn -> PSX converter or a N64 -> Gamecube converter. This is exactly what I’d like, but I’d rather connect directly from Saturn to Gamecube if possible. I understand that you have to have a processor to handle the conversion, but is there a way to combine those two projects to make a Saturn->Gamecube converter? If not, has anyone produced a similar guide for Saturn to Gamecube? Although I’ve taken a few electrical and computer classes in college, I’m a newb at this and I think programming the mini-controllers is a little over my head.

Just wondering what kind of glue madcatz uses to keep the wiring harness of the joystick intact? Thanks for the reply =]

ok thanks for the response I was losing hope anyone was going to even see my question. Now what is the difference between Mesh balls and balltops ?

The aesthetic.

i don’t know exactly what is the red glue used in Madcatz stick, but you can use standard hot glue to fix it (you can take it out easily after with an airdrier.)
