Well JC called me “randomly” yesterday. Said that there was this one place, that was holding console tourney (i’m not sure what the name of the place was), but he’s saying that since they sold out of XX, he’s thinking of either doing one of the two. Pass flyers (sp?) to advertise our tourney’s OR just hold a console tourney there.

“New person to me” phase is gone. Cool guy. His Nightmare has become really weak but his Testament still test my patience.

horizontal slash=one button input, the A button. That’s it. Hitting it three times will not make the move faster or better. Refinement of the controls is fundamental. Trust me. I’m still trying to learn how to effectively manipulate the sticks so I know first hand of not being able to do what I want to do. This is more emphasized while playing 2d games. Ask Rob of my trials and tribulations during the FQ CvS2 days. All I’m trying to say is that your timing suffers because you hit too many buttons.

Not having to plan out learning both GGXX and CvS2 and at the same time doing so horrible in Evo (yea and the lack of places to go too for food in Evo was bad as well, I think Robin lost an extra 45lbs’ just by walking to Subway) -

Stay playing it. Atomise-wave will eventually change the system anyway. It’s a good game to start learning alot of old school tricks. -

Depends, since MvC2 is one hell of a reaction game, it’s a good way to build dexterity, but then again…too many people are way too good in this game, that it’s hard to actually catch up. -

Was fun til I saw the light of Capcom. Capcom has more depth in the game. Seems that Capcom worked more into their game than SNK :(. I loved KoF 95-98, I hated 99, enjoyed 2k-2k1, 2k2 was more of a no no really, but fun as well. -

You have to learn EVERYTHING I say online is either Sarcasm or a joke. If I was ever serious, I would probably start cussing and flaming.
I’m confused, what happened?
Whenever I do come down to Reno I’ll have to show ya guys how deep the rabbit hole really gets when playing SvC Chaos. All I have to say is it’s so bad that GCFS basically shreads any kind of gameplay depth that there was in any fighting game. Geese Howard is hella wrong in Chaos as well linking up hella combo’s that dizzy’s your opponent only to eat up another mad combo into Raging Storm. If that isn’t messed up I don’t know what is except his Max infinite but of course Kyo has a very strong Max infinite then end it with qcf+D juggle into super that does who knows how much damage. Demitri is basically poke god with his fast recovery. :eek:
Yeah Chaos is pretty much screwed up. The only character that I really like in that game overall is Shiki. Everything else feels like a recap of CvS1. Well at least I saw just about every ending.

I don’t think I ever will; it looks both cool and crazy at the same time, but to go along with what everyone else said it’s been out forever and the chances of me getting as good as the people who have played it before me probably aren’t that great.

Those thugged-out gangsta kids I saw playing MvC2. They are super fresh and I believe they will bring renocrew to a whole new level. Like 40oz cupholders on the games, maybe some 22’s on the Daytona USA machines, and gold chains/ak-47 clips in the crane games instead of the stuffed animals.
