No… team tournaments are like 2 or 3 people a team, with multiple teams playing round-robin against each other, or single elimination or something.
I will not be able to come to the tourny because i have to watch UNR loose a football game with my parentd :lame: :mad: :bluu: not that i would win anywayz:o

Wow thats sucks cam but yeah i like the idea of team tourney but i dont like the idea of paul and chris cause then of course its jp and rob and then you have 2nd and 1st place (not in that order) which leaves me and andrei if he shows up but you know what i dont mind ill play ill win ill show ya’ll whos wearing that daddy pants

UNR must win this weekend damn it, since it’s only Utah State (right??), have faith in our football program at least. Wish I could watch it, but unfortunately, I can’t either go (work) or too lazy to go or really can’t afford to go to their games. But hopefully they’ll only have at least 4 teams to lose too, and make it to a bowl bid, even if it’s only the Vegas Bowl.

Ronin: I was never going to boycott, I’ll probably go. I woulda prolly gone to the last one if I hadn’t been sick. But the tourney stuff seems dumb. Everyone posted what they thought about it and it seemed like the majority of people prefered monthly. But then we go right back to bi-weekly. Although splitting it out over two days and starting early is trying something new which is good.
Also it bugs me that the announcements are always incomplete. You come on and say we are having a tourney because Paul said so, then Paul says he doesn’t know when it will start because you are running it. I still have no idea what is happening for entry fees or single vs. double elim. Anybody wanting to come from out of town to a tournament here would have to read through the last 4 pages of our thread and piece together information from multiple posts to try to know what is going on.
Plus I was inspired by the boycott thread at VFDC. Speaking of which do you think we will ever have VF4 tourneys? Is anyone practicing this game?

O_o; yes, tournaments are tonight for Marvel Vs. capcom 2 and Soul calibur 2… Sign-ups at 7:00 until 8:00, then it starts at 8:30.

It’s going to be awhile before I can get any days off but the good news is that the way that my schedule is…I have Thurs/Fri off. Perhaps in about several weeks that I can head down to Reno once more.
Right now I’m playing Garou MOTW ever since I got the DC game back. 
I didn’t get there until like right at 8:30 tonight.
Avarus: Unfortunately it looks like Tekken 4 is broken at Atlantis now. It was hung up and then when they reset it it got stuck when it was trying to boot up.
In more sucky machine news the Super Monkey Ball Joystick looks like it’s broken now too. It have full travel to the right, but only goes over like 20% to the left. I guess when you have a machine that you know does nothing but eat credits out on the floor for months on end somebody will eventually beat on the machine. That stick has gotta be expensive too. The analog sticks for an NFL Blitz machine are like $99 in the happ catalog.
Sorry gary i left at 8:15 because it would have been a waste for me you nick y. and nick s. to play in SC2.
So peoples tonight (saturday) sign-ups for CvS2 and GGXX will start at 7 and run till 8:15 ill set up the brackets and we’ll go.

Wee… have fun peoples :D. I think I finally realized that monthly is the best way to go do tourney’s. But they want bi-weekly’s. So :D, can’t say much about it really, since I’m more inclined into playing EQ and I have a fantasy football league that I just joined up so, I don’t think I’ll have enough motivation playing in tourney’s now, but I don’t know, just gonna see how it plays down. Rob, give me a call in Sparks tommorow once you get there, need to tell you something, mr.cyberathlete :D.
