So, what does everyone say to the tournament this coming weekend? And as of now, we’re going to offically use APEX. ^^ As soon as I get the e-mail back, we’re in the system.
If I actually did manage to make it up to Evl I would only enter the GGXX and T4 tournament. In the GGXX tournament I would stick with using Dizzy till the very end of elimination. On T4 it would either be Xaiyou, Lee, Heihachi, Kazuya, or Jin considering that I’m dangerous with those characters. Heihachi I use him like the old school days aka Tekken3 style with the wannabe hadoken move :lol:
IMO when it comes to videogames I’m just about decent on almost all the games that I play and this goes for SNK fighting games as well. Also there is absolutely no way that I’m quitting on GGXX and I stride to increase my Dizzy gameplay even further as I play along. On SvC I’m doing extremely well with Shiki, Violent Ken, Kasumi Todo, and I’ve even gotten better with Tessa as well. Tessa’s close s.D into her exceed grab super is extremely good considering that most characters in SvC can combo off any close s.C or s.D into command throws. Same goes for Akuma’s raging demon which can be combo’d off of punch pokes which is plain wrong since in most Capcom games you can jump away from Akuma’s raging demon after the punch or kick connects.
Unfortunately I didn’t get the days off once again but hopefully sometime later in the fall I’ll come by to Atlantis and play with ya guys once again.
I’m learning Dizzy as well Yush. I don’t know but I think it sucks right now, but I’m prep’d to lossing more games now rather than actually winning any. Paul, you know the crew’s down with $1.00 tourneys :). Even I think the scrubbiest peep’s would be down with it since it’s only $1.00 and for bragging rights that they beat Nick Y LOLOL J/k bro. Anyway Yush if you went to Evo it would be like this. If you got used to the American version of XX and got so used to her frc in that version you’d be fine, but if your used to the Japanese/Arcade version, then it’s a different story. Both have their differences, like frame-rates and frames on frc’s. Tons of peep’s were getting pissed at the fact that this was on console and that everything was different including the speed of the game. Kinda sucks though, but oh well it’s done and seems that the Japanese players didn’t have any trouble with it. But right now, if Robin shows me where the website is, I’ll go buy him the #reload for being such a nice guy

Yeah that is so true on both American and Japanese versions. Actually playing the japanese version against a japanese player I would have no problems with Dizzy’s FRC timing or any other characters. Also playing with my own T4 Hori Stick or SCII Hori Stick which works fantastic for me controls wise.
I’m still hoping that Atlantis get’s SvC. I have to show ya guys some Shiki stuff.
Hehe doubtful on SvC, but hopefully Mike approves on getting this game. But with all these talk about the place not getting anymore games and that they’re in the hole, well we’re doubting we’re going to get any games soon. We’re hoping for a 3S cabinet, but that’s totally doubtful and even unconsidered now. VF4 Evo seems fun, but we won’t get that in the arcade as well. GGXX is prolly the only game we have that’s freaking awesome and working. CvS2 is a bust and kinda disappointing. BTw I’m still sticking with Blanka/Vega/R2 Sagato!!!. Cause theyr’e cool like that. Anyway, back to work.

Seeing that he’s from Davis, he plays GGXX and MvC2, wondering if he also plays CvS2. But anyway, this $1.00 tournaments finally bring people up or do you think Impulze/Galzpanic/WholeFn finally telling peep’s up there that we also have a crowd down here or up here, which ever way you guys prefer it LOL HAH that didn’t sound right and besides it’s 6am and I haven’t slept yet. Lei Fei is the Eddy Gordo masher type charachter.
Akira is really hard to use because the execution for his good moves are really tough. But he is really strong.
Goh (gothy Jin dude) is a reversal char kinda like Aoi. Pretty hard to use. Reversal timing in VF is pretty strict. Much harder to reverse than it is in Tekken.
Wolf is good and easy to use. HCF+P+G (giant swing) is good. Big Damage.
I used to use Pai as my main. I can’t wait to check out her new EVO moves out of her stances. She can do something like Ling’s backturned 2 and stay in backturned now.
One good thing about VF4 is that there is SOOOO much media on the web. Lots of Japanese sites frequently uploading match vids.
Well, I’ll probably stick with Lei-Fei. He looks like a real deep character and it might take longer then say Wolf, but he’s fun to play. Anyway, my voice is almost non-existant right now, so if i see ya’ll at the arcade, I probably won’t be talking too much.
Deep? As in deep as Gordo? Lol if he’s considered the Gordo of the game, that mean’s you can mash a lot and he’ll do certain moves you can’t even understand LOL. Again, RANDOM. But he looks fun to use so he might be a good start. I wanna learn Goh cause he’s like a bad ass streetbrawler :). And has a very nasty, nasty combo to boot. But first I’m going to learn Lion cause he’s been my favorite ever since Vf2 (scrubtacular!).
