Doing the Ryu trials and since it says the trials are done in Super SF4 I was wondering if some of these combos are no longer viable in ultra? would hate to spend time learning some combo in the trials and then find out i cant use it in Ultra matches…
No. The game reverts back to the 2010 SSFIV update, so lots of stuff that worked in that game won’t work in Ultra. For example, Ryu had a HP DP that hit twice and could be used as a combo ender in the corner after a light Tatsu. You can’t do that anymore in Ultra. You must use the medium punch version.
