About the ps4 => xbone brook converter

I’m a long time reader of this forum, I used advices from people in here to build my own arcade stick setup. that’s my first post though ^^’

Hi, I’m using my ps4 controller on my pc, and I have been using since the beginning of the ps4 never had any problem, now I have a new ds4 controller, and sometimes, unexpectedly, windows rejects it (it randomly sets the device as ‘deactivated’ in the device manager !!), so I was wondering if using a brooks converter (a ps4 to xbox one controller) would solve the problem, so my question is:

Anyone know if you can plug and use a ds4 controller in a pc using a ds4=>xone brooks converter?

Is it the new “Z” series DS4?
•Bundled with PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro
•Allows you to play over USB or Bluetooth

Or is it just a new regular DS4?

yes, I have the controller that’s bundled with the ps4 pro.

EDIT: ds4windows has this problem I’m describing, hence my request
