Seeing as how SSFIVAE, SF3, UMvC3, SFxT, and Blazblue are likely going to be the major tournaments at EVO2k12, what classic games would you like to see come back to the event in the form of a major tournament? For me, definitely, it would be Capcom vs. SNK 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Tekken Tag Tournament(even though TTT2 may eventually be in).
Thoughts?
Don’t be so sure about the ones in bold.
Personally I’d like to see MBAACC 1.07 in it because it’s a new “old” game that doesn’t follow the scrubby trends of modern FGs and it’s way more suitable for serious play.
And SkullGirls for the same reasons above, and because it’s a FG made from within the community, so if I were the one in charge of EVO I’d feel downright obligated to support it.
There’s a lot of side tournaments for those games if I’m not mistaken. But I’m going to be biased as fuck and suggest 3S on there. Anything else would sadly be too obscure and get too few entrants.
*I don’t think there’s going to be a big turnout for SF X TK. I get the feeling that the community at large is not going to be hype for it. Call it hunch, no intention of trolling. I hope MK9 is back. Not looking forward to Soul Calibur and (sigh) more Tekken being streamed.

mb would never be on evo for many obvious reasons 
also BB would be a given considering that it got a new revision; imo skullgirls is also a given
There is little chance of older games coming back to EVO. That’s just how the event is run now.
And Hell, I doubt even Skullgirls will get a spot.
