Against the rufus. nice use of s.mp as antiair. You need to crouchtech with cr.hp against him so lp+lk+hp while crouching. if he throws, you tech, if he goes for another instant divekick to counter regular crouchtechs you punch him out of the air with cr.hp, its an option select you definitely have to learn.
Yeah the akuma was just bad, didnt know how to play the character, nothing to say there.
Against chun li personally I use more focus attacks, sometimes you can absorb a poke and crumble her. her recovery on fireballs is too quick, you cant punish it with U1 (at least not easy and from far away), I play U2 against her, chun lis love to neutral jump heavy kick, so U2 is the perfect punish for that.

thanks for the info missionschabernak very helpful and informative. the lp+lk+hp option select, does that have any other uses against other characters that dive kick like yun?

I only use it against rufus, because rufus player often attempt a second divekick directly after the first to catch crouchtechs, I have not see this that often with other divekick chars. In princinple you can use this against anyone. Ryu players like to use cr.lp+cr.lk+cr.mp because their mp is so awsome (4 frames startup, super poke).

^^^^^ cr tech with hp also good vs any divekick character. even cammy

What’s the frame advantage on block dive kicks?

It changes depending on how deep the divekick is, spacing, height, etc. Your best bet in any divekick situation is to block, and start paying attention to what the player wants to do. Are they trying to bait your cr. tech? Are they trying to divekick in and start pressure with block string? Do they divekick then neutral jump?

All of these situations have answers.
