i think if the j.mk crosses up deep enough, you can usually follow with st.hp/cr.lp/cr.lk etc and it will be a block string…
besides the above, he has no other block strings off of a crossup or step kick. if abel can continue safely with blockstrings after a stepkick he’ll be top tier lol
anyway, the basic way to deal with mashers is really just block(+ late tech if theyre not doing any reversals), and punish them HARD, make them not wanting to mash.

this is what i was talking about earlier… silly shit like this where sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t… i’d really like 2 or 3 frames reduction on start up for his cod.
so… TT dash up Mk roll is +5 frames of advantage? that means that meaty step kick should beat a wake up jab right? I couldn’t for the life of me get this to work… this should be 1 frame timing so i could be off… Is it just me?
