Yeah, I think you’re right. But I can confirm that you don’t need more than a memory stick (or the new internal memory they’re putting in Arcade units) to play SFIV online.
Thanks Busta for making the blog. It’s a great thing to help people out but creating a blog dedicated to showing videos of matches, posts about upcoming events (BAR FIGHT BABY :O!), and even creating guides… now that is just awesome. I’m glad that the Abel forums has such a proud and dedicated person to look towards :woot: Keep up the hard work man and one day all your generosity will come back at ya… but seriously go record some more games for my knowledge hungers! ‘;…;’

PS- Been reading the site since the first time I heard the name dropped on the 1up video before the launch of SF4. Never really had the urge to create an account seeing as how all the knowledge I could possibly need as of right now has already been posted but I honestly just think it’s cool that a respected player has taken the time to create a site that we all have free access to. The least I could do was make an account to say thanks.
That’s true. However, he should get a hard drive anyway even if it’s just a 20gb one (which can be bought for $35-40 now) so he can install the game so the disc drive doesn’t have to run during gameplay. It’s a preventative measure to RROD.
You have to protect your investment, dude, the Xbox 360 is just too prone to malfunctioning.

Just as an added note, Busta I recently bought the 120gb harddrive for my 360, so I have my old 20gb just laying around, if your interested, i’ll sell it to you cheap bro.
Also, can we update the 1st post with all the videos that have been posted? If not, if everyone agrees, i’m going to make a new thread with all the videos neatly organized right there at the beginning, and i’ll update accordingly. I’m on here at least once or twice a day, so keeping it updated should be no chore.
Let me know guys, then maybe we can get it stickied as well.

Might I recommend lumping them into a massive playlist… or a playlist at the time you uploaded them. I enjoy your play style and would probably watch most of your videos… its just a hassle to click open them all and have so many windows loading. A playlist of the batch uploads just gives you 1 click, and you will probably get +1 view to each of the videos on it.

also: tell the cam guy in some of the videos to be quiet. It’s clear you are the Abel player and he is the backseat driver. Let him stick to cheering when you win… instead of critiquing your play style after each button press. Especially with your video’s fanbase

The Abel section could really use some reorganizing and cleaning up in general. The matchups thread especially. There’s gold in that thread, but the original post hasn’t been updated in such a long time that you wouldn’t know it if you just read the first page.
Surely if someone complied the information into a post of their own in the same format as the OP… then linked the OP to it, it could be copy pasted.
I don’t thats an outrageous request, and i personally have done similar things in char sections i more frequently visit. Most of the time the guys that made those original posts (honestly I think they do it for the rep) make them in many sections, so updating them all is a gigantic task.
Just to stop more duplicate threads it would be better if the OP could just copy any links of vids that get added to the first page.
Same with other threads, I’ve often missed a gem of info trying to scroll thru pages and pages of posts but I understand that it’s hard and pretty much a pain for sum1 to sift thru and add everything into 1 post.
Does each character have a dedicated mod? Or is it just the old school users who try to keep order?
lol vid from nakano trf beginners tourney where i lost to a blanka. xD. i played badly and too defensive i think, but to be honest i was very very nervous its my first time joinin such tourney with lotsa people watching and mc commenting etc. all excuses though i just need to improve my play. T_T
Actually I think you did good , but just remember rushing blanka is always a scare. Because the can Piano roll electricity for a defense.

awesome hfz, play more of those tournaments!! also hmm try this out, i saw you focus on a lot of abel’s super moves, ie rekka and stuff. try messing around with doing a lot more normals. you should see if that helps. i have seen a few new abel players at my local arcade and they focus too much on special moves (wheel kick, rekka, etc.) and never really used to many normals. his normals are pretty good imo.
thanks for the feeds arkayne17 n busta. yeah a friend of mine once told me the same thing regarding me focusing on special moves more than normals. i’ll keep it in mind next time. i need to learn more about his normals and poking/counterpoking skills.

also to get rid of the nervous thing, try entering more tournaments. the more comfortable you get the more the nerves will go away. i know how its like to be playing when your all nervous / hands shaking or anything like that. i did TERRIBLE in a sf4 tournament but now that has all changed.
One thing that’ll really help against Blanka is knowing which of your normals beat his electricity at which distances. Most (all?) of the time, you can hit him safely with either cr. MP or cr. HK when he’s using it. And then you either have a knockdown or a combo starter.
yeah lookin back, i had lotsa oppurtunity to punish the electricity but ended doing nothing instead. nway i heard punishing with cr.HK aint really that safe.
