Thanks, guys! I guessed Viper would be a hit or miss kind of thing and apparently it was the latter.
The Rufus one was actually the beginning of a story avatar, but I ran into the editing trap early. I was going to have to reduce the colors so I made it a silhouette, and it didn’t look too bad. I decided to just stick with Rufus, loop it longer, and add cacti. I’m pretty happy with it, but I agree with the speed and dithering comments.
My favorites are definitely Vewlix Hadoukens and Unemployment Line. Gill behind the counter is too good.
from the beginning, i intended on capturing the end of the draft, since i didn’t know what i would do with the new characters.
originally, i was going to put rose, guy, rolento, dee jay, t. hawk, and dan into the av (i eventually decided to take dee jay and t. hawk out). the script would look something like this:

Good job to all of the contestants. I even liked the ones with the filters applied. They looked nice, but there were too many of the same style so it detracted from the work.
I definitely like the effort that Sakura.Densetsu put in. Damn! that was a lot more than I expected for this av contest. :tup: :tup:
str[e]ak: I liked the concept of your av, but in the end i though it was a tad too simplistic with what just looked like an animated sprite. After looking at what you were trying to do, I wish I could have seen the entire idea come to fruition. It looks liked it would have been awesome!

No way man, that was an excellent manip. I wouldn’t call it a miss at all. You did a great job. It’s just that she ended up looking ugly, imo that’s all, I think it’s the lines by the cheek bones and how it just looked like she was old, and the curly hair.
If I was judge, I’d have still voted it #1 still, by far. The minor things, like the cheek lines and no gloves, is just me nitpicking.
