To be more specific, I think the only person Slide plays on kal is me. Its a totally different game with the massive delay that kal-only people seem to be used to, compared to offline or the relatively lagless games we’ve played in private servers. Blanka is essentialy the worst character in A3 next to Juli (the brunette Cammy clone), yet he’s such a “good” character online because he can get away with spamming his great jump attacks and people trying to move forward getting hit by random balls because they blocked in accordance to what they see, not by what the emulator is reading.
In closing: A3 on kalliera is scrub-friendly. I call it Street Fighter Alpha 3: Special JumpFest edition. There’s no reason not to jump and no reason to walk because footsies are non-existent when the other player can jump with impunity
I agree 200%. I get so fucked up on Kaillera for trying to play the game with footsies while I get jumped on and can’t dp because it won’t come out. Shit ppl even abuse overheads on me and I can’t do a thing about it because I can’t react to the lag in time to block. But I guess thats my fault for not abusing lag like all the other Kaillera scrubs
