A real newb question stick modding

quick and to the point i have tried taking my ball top off my hrap2sa and i cant unscrew it someone said i need to put a flathead in a slot to secure the shaft to unscrew the ball top. where is this slot do I need to unscrew the back of the stick and open it to get to this slot? please explain modding virgin trying to figure this out.

Unscrew the 6 bolts holding down the top panel with a #4 size allen wrench. Then look at the bottom of the joystick. You’ll see the slot for the screwdriver. Place it there and unscrew the balltop.
