A question in regards to sticks that work with multiple systems. (PC)

I play fighting games on PC and PS3 on a casual level, I’m looking to get a Qanba Q1 Arcade Joystick as a cheap, entry level stick to get me started.

I know that if I plug it into the PS3 when I’ve got the switch on PS3 mode it’ll work right off the bat but I’m just wondering if It’ll do the same for PC?

I won’t need to download any program or reconfig the buttons or anything techincal like that?

Dunno if that answers your question since I don’t have a Q1, I got MadCatz SCV stick for PS3 and PC and it works right away when I plug it into either system.
Didn’t have to install any drivers for PC whatsoever.
Should be the same with the Qanba stick.

Also you should’ve posted this in tech corner.

My bad, lol.

Try it and see what happens. Typically the Qanba PS3 mode can be used for PCs, but this isn’t always the case. If it doesn’t work, you’d have to download something like DS3MotionJoy drivers to get it to work for PC.

Not too difficult. But if you think downloading programs and reconfigging buttons is highly technical, maybe it isn’t for you.

The Madcatz TE PS3 sticks work fine with PC if you have USB 3.0.
