Today I got interested in playing as storm so I looked at the combo thread to try out some combos. As I looked at them some of the combos required me to do “jc” or jump cancel. how do you preform a jump cancel as storm ?
Just input a jump after the move connects.

To be more specific, s:m: and c:h: are the only normals outside of :s: that are jump cancel-able (jc). Once you connect with one of the moves, hit or block, just hold up on the joystick/d-pad and Storm will jump. This is how her bnb combos are completed. To go along with that, you can get some interesting mixups after jump cancels with her instant overheads, floats, tri jump crossups, and hi/lo game. Once you are comfortable with her you will get the hang of all the things she can do in combo and out. Hope that helped.
