I’ll be able to make it to Pownz as soon as it opens more or less so I’ll handle all registration for anyone who comes in. I’m the old white guy with ugly curly hair.
I’ll also set up brackets for 3S, TvC and STHD if needed.

so is the event supposed to show up on the pownz schedule on their website (because it’s not)? I think this was addressed earlier but I’m not sure.

UPDATE - PLEASE READ
POWNZ has elected to give us two free hours (12:00pm - 2:00pm) for free play. If you’re looking to get in casual games this would be your best opportunity to do so. You’ll also want to take the time to register with the venue and do any setup that may be necessary.
Please note the schedule has been updated. Everything was bumped up an hour with the extra time we were allotted. It also gives the people who want to see UFC the opportunity to leave POWNZ and find a bar to do so without a major rush.
Some of the games have been moved along with the TV’s they were going to be on. Also, CvS1 & A3 are now in the schedule. GGAC did not meet the 8 player requirement. If 8 players want to run it tomorrow then they’ll have to find one of the directors and make their case.
I will not be in attendance until 6:00pm at the earliest due to work. The directors have already slotted me in the later games as I can’t join the first half of tournaments.
I’ll be there around 11:15am ish.
I have some extra brackets so I can bring those too.

So just to confirm, is anybody else bringing a Wii? Or am I the sole provider of TvsC? If I need to bring anything else let me know. If not, see you all there around 12.
I can bring my Wii, but I can’t guarantee it isn’t blown up. I haven’t turned it on since I dropped it from my height, so probably a solid 5 foot drop and it bounced around about 5 times.

Couple notes:
This is a bring your own stick/controller event. If you don’t have one I suggest you talk to someone who is willing to loan it to you. Please do not find random strangers and ask to use their sticks. Also please show respect to people’s property. When you’re done then return it. Do not hand it to another person who isn’t the owner.
Also, console tournaments need everyone to contribute. Don’t come in thinking “well someone else will bring this console/game/stick/converter.” If you have the gear, bring it with you. At worst you leave it in the car for a few hours (it won’t be that cold out tomorrow) or in POWNZ storage area in the back for safekeeping.
I’m bringing a Wii + DC, that’s it.
