A&C World Thread - Downtown Toronto Casuals

Casual Area open?

I would like the footage of the brawl rage that happened today at A&C, please and thank you

Id be down for this, Im pretty good at SSF4 AE, I play friendlies with people every now and then but I would like to get better, but I really want to learn how to play MvC3 because I literally have 0 expierence with it but it seems like a game that suits me.

anyone going down for MVC3 tomorrow? ill stop by after my meeting downtown

Is there like a schedule? I’d love to play some AE with people just need to know when there’s a lot of people there, I know it says Wednesdays but is there a specific time? Also it says PS3 and I only have 360 sticks, do they lend some out?

They play AE usually at the beginning of the day. Usually there is a ton of AE and MvC3 casuals, few 3SO and like 1 or 2 of the MK casuals.
If the sticks are free and no one is using them then yes you can use one for a match.

I want to probably get a tourny running for SF4 and MvC3 and maybe MvC2 every Saturday, but i need to discuss with A&C. Planning to bring my laptop and camera for streaming

The October schedule isn’t up yet but it details what the focus for most days will be for the month.

World is usually booked for most weekends - with Smash or non fighting game tournaments - so it might be tricky to get a weekly thing going on a weekend. You might be able to work something out though, there are several slow days.

Just a reminder.

MK will be streamed on Wednesday and NOT MvC3.
We are all waiting for UMvC3 so I figured we can take a break from marvel 1 week and feature another game.
The MK community is ecstatic about it.

That doesn’t mean that there won’t be any MvC3, it will just not be streamed.

NeoRussell

Should be fun to come down for casuals for UMvC3 the first week it releases.

can we get some long casuals going on thanksgiving weekend? maybe start up ranbats soon like mentioned earlier?

Yeah Ranbats would be pretty live, Would give people more reason to go consistently

I’ll talk to the guys about Ranbats, seems like a good idea since Wednesdays are blowing up. Also this:

If anyone from sauga is going I’ll pay gas money if I can grab a ride.

What time do the wendsday casuals start?

Starts at 4p but people usually come at around 5p.

NeoRussell

Much obliged. Ill try to be there.

Jared: You should create a thread for that tournament.

Follow the format given in here:

Always create a new thread when announcing a tournament. Makes it easier for everyone to see.

NeoRussell

I think im going to try and go to that, I live in Sauga

These are the monthly tournaments, I created one for the Pre T12 tournament to build hype since I wanted to make that one it’s own semi separate entity.

Though, I may consider creating a tournament series thread. You think that would be a better alternative?
