things are not looking good for me right now and I’m not sure when I’ll be hosting another gathering to make a long story short I kinda lost my job due to budges cuts so right now I’m trying to see whats available. The company I work for now is trying to relocate me but there isn’t anything out there other then part time. So that’s why I didn’t do anything this Saturday. Maybe this next week as I can’t really search for a job in my field on weekends as usually the offices are all closed but this week has been a little stressful so I just wasn’t up to it.

its just security. what happened is the site that I’ve worked at for 3 years can no longer afford full time security so they are cutting the morning and grave shift so that means there is no longer a place for me over there since I worked the grave. As of right now the company I work for has nowhere to place me so once November comes I’m not going to be making any money and that’s the shitty part if they had fired me or lay me off I would at least get unemployment but this way I’m not making any income at all and that’s the part that sucks. I got a few things that are kinda in the air at the moment so hopefully it comes thru otherwise I’m going to e having a lot of free time coming up next week.

damn bro, sorry to hear that. according to edd laws, even a cut in hours can constitute a valid reason for you to claim unemployment. so if you weren’t officially laid off, you can still file for unemployment. CA edd really favors the employee so it’s worth a shot at the very minimum. i’m assuming you would just need some proof of the cut in hours which i’m sure they can tell you more. i’ve never done it personally, but i’ve read a lot of the rules since i deal with it at work if our employees files. nothing to lose if it doesn’t work other than a good 15-45 mins on hold to talk to someone from edd. my gf had to call recently and the hold time is ridiculous.
don’t do it this sat mike, halloween is the same night. if your down, i’d say fri is better. and i’ll supply the pizza on your behalf 
can’t do this Friday cuz I’m actually still working. this is my last week starting Nov 1 that’s when my hours get cut. I got 2 days now its not full time but its better then nothing I guess just need to see if I can get 3 days somewhere else and I’'ll be alright. I may host something on Nov 7th but that’s kinda in the air as I’m still dealing with this work thing hopefully its settled before then.
yeah me too charlie, i heard you switched up. I have a pretty good chun li and bison too but i cant handle a really good balrog(yours) or a decent blanka with them…i have THE most trouble fighting my main with my secondary and trimary.

Alright well its been 3 or 4 weeks now since there has been anything going on so I’m going to start hosting the bi-weekly’s again. So I’m hosting one this Saturday Nov, 14, 09. I’m going to be starting it a little earlier this time. I’ll also be having Tekken 6 and street fighter 4 running. Here is the run down.
Street Fighter 4 & Tekken 6 gathering in Livermore
starts 7pm - 2am ( may run later )
4 tv set up if anyone wants to bring their own HD tv down its welcomed as 3 of the tvs I have are just standard. and we will be running on PS3 and xbox360 but mostly on PS3. If you want to bring your own system down as well that’s ok. Depending on how many people come we can try setting up more then 4 Tvs as I want to try to get tekken players down as well as SF players.

I’m going to try to provide free drinks and pizza like I always have but that depends on how many people show.
