90 Year Old Man Arrested For Feeding The Homeless

Like I understand why they say it’s around but we all know that’s not the main reason

Still gonna give food to the homelesss whenever I have extra cash.

I think the old man should sue the city, I don’t think the city can make religious community outreach illegal.

Soylent! Feed the homeless with the homeless!

This is disgusting…come on Florida, come on…

It’s not just Florida. Most if not all states have laws banning this type of outreach. You need state approval and inspectors to give people food.

Yeah, but u shouldn’t. I mean, how many cases of homeless poisoning is there? Cops can’t fucking solve simple B&E’s, but they got cops all over dudes feeding the homeless?

Can’t cum in their mouth, though. Big minus.

No protein shots :frowning: ^

I dunno how to feel about this. I made habbit of feeding the homless who ask me for money because i notice some will take the money to get stuff like drugs and other unhealthy related stuff. Seem i have to handle this differently now.

and people go ou t of their way to poision homeless?..i shouldn’t be surprise sense ima ware of alot more heinouse stuff but…damn…that really makes me sad.

Yeah it’s frankly ridiculous.

This.
The messed up part is when kids start doing it.

When I was growing up there was this one little shit that would buy KFC and piss in it.
Then give to random homeless people and watch them eat it.

Now I know that its just a dumb rumour but…The kid was still a rowdy shit that would lie and steal whenever he could. IIRC he was 12-ish at the time.

Obviously this is fucked up, but I’m surprised none of you understand why feeding the homeless is banned. I was at my local supermarket and asked some random guy behind the fish counter what happens to all the fresh food that isn’t sold that day because there is a ton of stuff in the fish department, let alone the entire huge supermarket that can’t possibly be sold in a day and the guy said its thrown out the next morning. I ask why not donate some of it to homeless shelters? And he said it’s a shame I agree with you, but the supermarket would be sued if someone got sick from their food.

@Vynce‌ you work in or with a supermarket right? Have any insight for us?

If I was the cop ordered to arrest a 90 year old man for feeding the homeless, that would be the final straw for me.

“Fuck this, I’m done… Here’s my badge, and you all can go fuck yourselves.”

Protect and serve my ass…

Pretty much why when I worked at Peet’s we couldn’t feed homeless food we were gonna throw out that was gonna go bad in a few days.

Similar story, a few year back, the company I used to work for acquired a donut chain. When we went to review their processes, one thing we learned was that they would put all the unsold donuts in water to make them soggy before dumping them in the trash, or sometimes even down the drain.

@orochizoolander‌ Yeah, it’s kind of sad.

A store is obligated to sell its product until it is “unsellable.” Close-coded merchandise may be reduced in price. Once something is out of code, it must be disposed of by law.

Fucked up with a capital ‘F’, just like Florida.

Yeah, except the mayor of Ft. Lauderdale went on camera and said the law is there because feeding the homeless would make them become dependent on free food.

Nothing like Pull-Yourself-Up-By-Your-Bootstraps laws to say “America!”

Yeah, heard excuses like “this would enable more homeless people” or something to that effect.

I understand if it was mostly due to tainting the food and stuff, but “enabling” someone who’s homeless? What???

One way you could is to get a no-frills gift card to some fast food joint and give it to one.
If said homeless guy refuses it, well…

This is more proof that the elites are just patently evil. They do stuff JUST to cause suffering. I know most of SRK are atheists, so I’m stating this more as a sort of analogy or figuratively. But it’s like the devil grants power and wealth, so once people have it they are bound to just be as evil as possible to pay back his rewards.

It’s impossible to become rich and powerful without being greedy and evil. You have to step over people to get to those levels, and once you’re there instead of thinking “wow I have more money than I could ever spend in 50 lifetimes, let me help other people out” it becomes “well those people are poorer than me so it means I can just push them around, and that goes double for the people that are in poverty and have nothing.”

Lately I’ve been looking to find ways to give to honest charities. I am thinking of starting my own charity. My cousin does food pantry stuff every once in awhile where he goes and makes food at home then gives it out to the homeless. I’m not sure what I could do, but I want to make sure 100% of all donations go directly to those in need, instead of like 5% which a typical charity does. Breast Cancer Awareness is probably the worst example of that, even the 5% they give to charity is just to drug companies to “research” and then they sell the drugs at huge markups anyway.

Anybody got a good idea or cause?
