Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Tournament Update!
Fee: $5 to enter, with $1 going to the house.
We’re still unclear as to how the pot will be split. If the turnout is low for the tournament then it will be split 60/40 for 1st and 2nd place.
If the registrations passes 30 entrants the pot will be split 70/20/10
Anything less will be split 60/40 for 1st & 2nd places.
However!!!
If demand is great enough from the tournament players we can alter this rule to 70/20/10 even if the cap is not met.
TvC will be double elimination with winners & losers brackets and please BRING YOUR OWN (CUBE) CONTROLLER OR WII TOURNAMENT STICK.
We will provide wired Nintendo Gamecube controllers but encourage you to bring your own if you feel it gives you your competitve edge.
2 Set ups will be dedicated to TvC on CRT Monitors.
Since this is our side tournament, the fee is obviously half of the main venue so that it’s not only more affordable but also a great way to have a good time at a low price.
We appreciate all the support and we can’t do this without you guys!
eh 30 entrants? Wow where did u get that number? Socal TvC tournaments get nowhere near that and even local SSF4 tourneys would barely be able to make that. But the pot splitting is totally understandable…
The reason why the ceiling is so high because splitting the pot may not be worthwhile otherwise. Realistically we expect maybe 10-15 entrants if we’re lucky. As stated: the way the pot is split can be arranged by the players because we want the experience to be worth the price.
Thank you for understanding the situation regarding the cash pot’s distribution. With only a couple of days left until tournament we want to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible and help ensure you have a great time and are completely satisifed.

We’ll have 1 CvS set up available pre & post Tatsunoko Tourney. The set up will be for casual play only: but if you want to have friendly wagers on your own matches that’s fine.
